The Chureito Pagoda is a five-storied pagoda in the Fujiyoshida City of Yamanashi Prefecture. You can see the spectacular view of Mount Fuji. The pagoda is in part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963. From the Shrine you need to walk on the 398 steps to reach the top. But while walking you can look back and can enjoy the amazing view of Mount Fuji. Fujisan is ready to welcome you.
You will be mesmerized to see the majestic Mount Fuji and the red-colored Chureito Pagoda together. This place is a very famous destination in the time of Cherry blossoms and in the autumn season. You can take breathtaking photographs from here. If you can visit this place on a sunny day then you can take memorable photographs of Fujisan along with the Chureito pagoda and the entire view of Fujiyoshida City.
If you love hiking then this place is good for you. There are observatories from there you can see the largest mountain of Japan, mount fuji. You can enjoy the beautiful forest covered with long trees and mosses are covered by some of the tree barks. It looks really nice. This place is very calm and quiet. So if you want to indulge some time in the greenery and in pure bliss then this place is best for you.
