In the Chuwi Vi8 Plus Banchmark test video you said it doesn't support microphones on the 3.5mm jack, and in this video you said all of them support 4 pole headsets with microphone, or it was just a mistake? Hii :) I am wonder is there is a tablet with dedicated power jack and another jack for OTG. I had Chuvi Vi7 and an OTG cable which also have possibility to power the tablet, but it was not working with Chuvi Vi7. I am searching for a cheap 7-8 inch tablet to to be used for car navigation/music/youtube. I really need to have this tablet able to use OTG function + charging at the same time or dedicated charging port. Also high brightness is also a must as it will be used in the car. And of course good GPS :) Currently wondering between CHUWI Hi8 Pro/ TECLAST X80 Pro or Plus. Any recommendations ?
Are you an Aussie? You should check the wifi performance. I heard from another video, the telcast has poor wifi antenna. Probably the same with the other chinese budget tablets when compared to an asus or dell tablet
A lot of these Chinese tablets seem to have dual boot. Not something I would be interested instead I would prefer the extra storage. Have you had any luck reflashing a dual boot tablet for single boot?
+RedDragonUKTech If you just want Windows it's easy, delete all the raw partitions in Windows and then reclaim the space and finally disable the dual boot menu.
I can only find dual boot versions. It's very annoying, I only want Android. Dual boot only makes sense with at least 64GB. These 32GB dual boot tablets must be a pain.
There is one reason why is usb c better, it's much more durable than micro usb, it broke on my old android lg and my friend had to replace it in his tablet and i hope my arduino won't meet the same fate, anyway usb-c should last much longer
all will be about the same unless you use one with z8500 which is hard to come from and they often throttle due to heat meaning u should add better heat displacement which means cracking the device open.
Hi8 does not have HDMI output. Vi8 plus has HDMI output and a physical keyboard and a monitor or TV, you can win a lot. Is the great failure Hi8 , for the rest I could see, perhaps it is better than plus Vi8
