It is a well known fact that there are more dumbasses in this world than sensible person. What this guy did in almost 15 mins is asking the audience to mug up values of solving the expression (1+r)^t for different values of r and t. And for that comparison thing, only dumbasses can appreciate content like this and as I said, there are a way more number of dumbasses in this world than logically thinking people. An easy method to learn the rate of 2 years Just multiply the rate by 2 (whole part) and write the square of the rate(decimal part) For example- 5%= 5×2=10 (5)²=25 5%= 10.25 Again= 6% = 6×2=12 (6)²= 36 6%=12.36 Hope it will help.Dear sir Please pin this comment

I think using formula of compound interest is much easier that mugging up whole table. Also solving formula of compound interest by putting corresponding values will take less than trying to remember whole table for just one value. And what if question comes time greater that 5 year or time with intermediate values with months and days?

U don't have to learn the table just do the successive equivalent percentage method for the years asked For eg. If asked for 3 year apply the formula three time Formula is x+y+xy/100

The 2 year row in the table follows the formula (2*rate).(rate*rate), 3 year row has the formula (rate*3).(3*rate*rate) it varies slightly after 5% by 0.02, 0.03, 0.05 etc. Similarly, 4 year row follows (rate*4).(Rate*rate*6)
There is another method for 2 years=2:1 for 3 years=3:3:1 for 4 years =4:6:4:1 And when half yearly calculation then r=>r/2,t=>2t and apply same formula. EX1 calculate compound interest on rs 4000 for 2 years at 10% x=(4000*10)/100=400 y=400*10/100=40 Total CI=2:1=(400*2)+(40*1)=840 EX2 calculate compound interest for rs 8000 for 3 years for 5% x=8000*5/100=400 y=400*5/100=20 z=20*5/100=1 Total CI=3:3:1=(400*3)+(20*3)+(1*1) =1261
