CI Santa Rosa Island Research Station 

Students at California State University Channel Islands are provided with the unique opportunity to conduct research and participate in recreation such as hiking, camping, and swimming on the second largest island off the coast of California: Santa Rosa Island.
As a member of the Channel Islands National Park, the University manages the CI Santa Rosa Island Research Station, where students from all majors regularly visit, study, and conduct research.
CSUCI has also developed STEM curriculum activities for community college, high school, and middle school students to perform various experiments on the Island.
