That's true. At one time, Chris had a HUGE crush on Ciara and used to talk good about her looks and dancing to Rih, who at the time was his girlfriend. Rih basically hated Ciara after that, but it wasn't really Ciara's fault, she couldn't help it if Chris has d a crush on her. But anyway yeah that's why Rihanna started subtweeting Ciara on Twitter etc and alot of ppl don't know this but also Rihanna actually texted Ciara talking shit.
I think Rihanna was going through a lot psychologically at the time and she was trying to spread her misery she was going through. I'm glad both of them are in a better place now doing amazing things.
Some people in the comments feel the way I felt about Rihanna lashing out at people she went through a lot during that time especially having your bruised face plastered everywhere. It was actually Karrueche he was texting way back then. If you pay attention to a couple of his songs (ex. She ain’t you) he talks about how they relationship came about. Even when Chris use to be going off on Karrueche online back then, he spilled the beans.

I didn’t know they had beef.. so I clicked.. Whats so crazy is, watching her dance videos, I came across the one w/Chris..After one of their moves, the camera goes to Rihanna in the crowd...zooms in on her expression.. She was smiling, but it was more like a stuck smile, & like she was in deep thought. When C said, she has no idea why , I right away thought of that performance & that’s why she don’t like C. When Nessa said that, it confirmed for me! (We know Rihanna was jealous & that’s why she hit him.) 💡 🤔😯 I wonder, if that night was the night, She & Chris had the fight! My girl Ciara is always on a smooth level ! Rihanna is always weird even when she smiles. The interviewer is so messy it's ridiculous. She's trying to mask her petty "ish" with fake concern. I say "fake concern" 'cause she's fully aware that Ciara doesn't want to talk about any beef yet she the interviewer lays into it for over 2 minutes straight.
