sabrina thegoodwitch not true.. Beyoncé doesn't have shit to do with the downfall of Ciara. look at how successful Rihanna is and she started in 2005 & Ciara in 2004. Ciara's downfall was her team. She wasn't marketed properly.. she wasn't getting the good songwriters she should have nor producers. As people grew out of her crumping music she still was singing it. Another downfall was her vocal ability & the "man" rumors that didn't get addressed until a year later.

Rihanna can not sing well live but that beat down she took is what made her who she is today. i do not think her being a man had nothing to do with her music. she had the people to write and produce for her. I still stand by what i said earlier. Also she had a beef with Rihanna. people took side with that bullshit.
sabrina thegoodwitch umm.. what I said in my post was factual.. That's how the industry and its buyers are. True fans were always there for Ciara. But many of her fans left. A great example is the DECLINING SALE OF RIHANNA IN 2009 when she got beat up!. No one really supported "Rated R" cause the album seemed "too dark" and her "Last Girl on Earth tour" was selling tickets for $1. Rihanna got big in 2007 from Umbrella.. that's how her career took off, and the fact that she has been non-stop with hits. If Ciara had that type of management she would have been good. SHE EVEN TALKS ABOUT IT. she had to switch labels cause she wasn't under good management or promotion. and wasn't marketed properly.
This is BY FAR Ciara's BEST performance she has ever done in a video clip of hers yet. Not only does she incorporate - every - dance technique under the sun; from popping, locking, dropping, winding, twerking, stomping && krumping; but she also includes every traditional dance scenario and cliché - With the first scene stepping out of a flash car, to a warehouse, to a slow silhouette, sexy dance sequence, and the ever so popular "wet" dancing in cascading water. Furthermore, the fast changing pacing of her song itself with the levels built in it; from the first climatic build up with the sharp beats and low base, to switching it down slow then dramatically back up again. She definitely freaking "brought it back" She outdid herself with an outstanding feat and showed those bitches how it's really DONE! I have way too much praise for her - ALL HAIL QUEEN CIARA.
Great analysis of the video. Small corrections: every hip-hop dance techniques under the sun, not every dance technique in general. Same for the clichés, they're typical to the American entertainment industry. But i agree a 100% this video was amazing. She's such a great entertainer I wish she was even more successful than that.
To me, and anyone else that has any knowledge of RnB and hip hop music, she isn't anything like Beyoncé. She's a mix of Janet and Aaliyah which in my eyes is absolute heaven on earth. You can't get better than that. She has the soft sound to her voice like Janet and Aaliyah, the sensuality of both ladies. The videography of Janet, the dance ability of both although she has a more hip hop dance style than Janet did and the performance ability of both. I LOVE Beyoncé but she doesn't need to be compared to her when there are far better comparisons if indeed they should be made at all.

I agree Ciara is The Best Dance and Singer. I never could understand why anybody would like Beyoncé. She can't dance at all compared to Ciara, and most of her songs are annoying. I am not even talking about her looks.
Janet Jackson could dance too. Her stuff was way more complex and her routines were more diverse and much longer than CC's. Not taking anything from Ciara because we love her BUT she's not the only gifted female dancer in the industry. Mya can dance very well too. Now this new chick Tinashe that just came out. She can dance too 😊
