There was this girl in high school who bullied me for no reason, and, at the time, I was going through the shittiest time outside of school, she would literally cut people in the lunch line/invite herself to the table me and my friends (at the time) would sit at during lunch and bully me/tell me to get out of my spot just so she could have it, all my friends knew I hated her and what she was doing, years later, in 2017, after we graduated, me and my friends were at IHOP, I don’t know who the hell invited her, or if she invited herself, but, she went over to our table, pretending she didn’t recognize me, since I had dyed my hair pink, my thing is that I always believe that you should have more friends than enemies, so, for the sake of my friends, since she’s friends with my crush (who I liked at the time) and for not wanting to cause a scene in front of my friends, I decided to give her another chance, first, she started doing this fake laugh at me, then she made fun of me when I told my crush that I liked the group on his shirt (he was wearing a Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt) and she made me uncomfortable by pointing out my speech impediment (I have trouble pronouncing R’s) I was uncomfortable and tense the whole time we were there, then one of my friends invited her into our personal group chat, when I confronted her about it, personally, she was like, “how am I supposed to talk to all my friends then?” I blame myself every time the memories come to my head, I should have ditched all of them when I realized what they were doing, especially after what happened when they all tried to hang out without me, a year later, 2018, I was in an internship, which they all knew about since I told them, I had just gotten out and was heading home when I saw a bunch of messages on my phone, realizing they were all texts from the group chat about hanging out, not once did they acknowledge me, I was angry, I confronted them about it, firmly, but, not full on-rage, and it just started a full-on argument with my bully calling me a baby, and to grow up, like it was my fault, by the time I got home, I was in tears, my crush, who saw the whole thing teased me about it (in a rude way) I truly believe she changed/brainwashed him, because he started treating me like I was the bad guy, and the girl who bullied me was the angel, by 2020, it got worse, and he started saying all these lies about how our friendship wasn’t even real, and that we never cared about him, saying we never wanted to hang out with him and shit, then, he left, I wasn’t myself for months, nothing I loved to do was any interest to me anymore, none of my favorite songs could cheer me up, the days after that felt like a nightmare, by November, after my friends ditching me after an attempt to hang out together, I had enough, I told them exactly how I felt, and what I was doing, they started arguing with me trying to convince me that I was “making a mistake”, but, I wasn’t having it, I blocked off all contact with them, deleted the group chat, their phone numbers, everything, I was done, it was the best decision I ever made, I should have done it sooner, but, I just didn’t know how, I guess it was my anger and frustration that led me to finally do it without hesitating, cause, really, if I wasn’t angry, at the time, I would have never done it because I wouldn’t have the heart to do it. I really did not realize how long this turned out🤦‍♀️
