Achieving or surpassing what other legends have achieved doesn't automatically make you a legend or icon in my opinion. Legends not only break industry records but carry the respect of their peers as well as their fans and the global community as a whole. I don't personally see Rihanna as a legend. I also believe legends have longevity and it's too soon to know if Rihanna falls into the "longevity" category.
