About The Voice of Ireland:
Based on the international hit format, The Voice of Ireland is looking for the best singing talent that Ireland has to offer. The Voice of Ireland will consist of three phases: The Blind Auditions, The Battles and The Live Shows. During these stages our 4 coaches, Kian Egan, Rachel Stevens, Una Foden and Bressie will help mentor their acts in the hope that one of them will become the next Voice of Ireland.

+Ciaran O Driscoll I liked the version of Chandelier but to imply that somebody isn't qualified to criticise if they can't perform the task better is ridiculous. I don't need to be a chef to know if food tastes bad. I don't need to be a singer to know if somebody can't sing. You obviously can sing but the point stands.

+GingerBagels Whilst everyone is entitled to an opinion it only stands as conjecture and not criticism as the point is without contextual merit, indicated in the base linguistic value. Correct, one doesn't need to be a chef to appreciate good food, however without time or effort to expand ones palette then the experience will be rendered a bland process of uninformed taste.

How about giving us an extended clip of this audition? For those of us who know his history from last year's appearance on the Voice UK, it would be interesting to hear the introductory material and the coaches' comments afterwards. I want to see if any of the coaches made the connection.
