Great stuff, mate. I'd like to get into new world stuff (got a Joya red and a Macanudo I've yet to smoke) and this vid is just the job, like all of your other content.
@@CigarSmokerUK they do, you're right. I like how well constructed they look and the packaging and the tubes (I like to try and collect 1 tube from each brand haha) are appealing. It's the fact they're med-full bodied that has me hesitating thus far.
Great video thanks! That German website you mentioned looks great, how have you found their delivery to the UK? The website suggests they use DHL. Do you have to pay an import tax too if you get them delivered to the UK? Thanks!
Hmmm it would appear that the prices in the UK are quite pricey, but if you haven’t try the My Father Le Bijou 22 petit robusta. What a cracking little stick that is and is only like $9-10 bucks in the states. 👌🏾
Great pallets think alike , Fuente and Parton are absolutely the best new worlds , you should try AJ’s versions of the Cuban heritage brands as well , pretty amazing stuff too
Drew estate undercrown maduro, all vitolas under 20 and they are amazing. Never had an issue with DE. Fantastic construction, flavour is unreal. Also the fire cured fat Molly is the shiz niz
@@CigarSmokerUK cgars UK. The robusto is my go to smoke. It's 17.50 on there, belicosso is around 19 and Corona is 15.50. No problem, not many people in the UK making reviews so you got a sub my man 👍🏻
I'm new to this cigar world! I use to smoke cigarettes for years but give it up few months ago but really missed just relaxing with a smoke so found cigars (which way better then cancer sticks ) what's the best newbie long lasting but cheap UK price cigars? Good video btw
Hi, this is so much better than cigarettes. Look at Boutiquesmokes.co.uk and you'll find some great cigars for UK prices. They are all good but the Skull 77 el diabolo at £13 is great value.
You’ll pay a lot less if you order from Europe (although customs charges can occur) yet you’ll still end up paying less than you will if you bought them in the uk. To try single cigars www.hacico.de Is the place to order from in Germany and once you’ve found a stick you really enjoy see if it’s on ihavanas.com and buy a box. Buying a box from Havanas let’s you pay American prices which is ridiculously low.
I dig pretty much all of these I believe. The CdG was the only one I've had that I don't think I cared for but A. It's not really in my wheelhouse to begin with. B. I know a ton of people that love em. And C. It's been years so who knows what I'd think today lol I often see folks from the UK, NZ, AU, etc, say New World cigars aren't much of a value compared to Cubans and think it's crazy cause I forget the tax. I know a lotta people around the world that smoke New World sticks because they're generally cheaper than Cubans (as well as the different flavors offered) but there are a few countries where they're almost the same and unfortunately you're in one. By comparison, most good Cubans here in the states are in the upper brackets of the cost where the Davidoffs, OpusX's, Dunbarton, etc, tend to reside, the higher end of things. Nice to see folks in those countries that appreciate cigars from places outside Cuba, I've run into so many Cuban cigar snobs from that neck of the woods it ain't even funny 😭 A friend of mine from NZ was that way for a while but he eventually got to where he almost exclusively smokes Nicaraguans. Said it was because he fell in love with cigars smoking Cubans and his palate developed on those profiles and everything else seemed off so he just kept going right back to Cubans. But I've come across some that were really nasty about it, seems unnecessary lol
That's the problem in the UK, Cuban and new world cost about the same. However, I enjoy a good new world and like to champion them. Thanks for watching.
Nice list! That VegaFina Nicaragua is a great cigar, at least for the money!! Granted I've only had one! - I hope I can find some Padron one day, I've yet to try a Padron cigar and people RAVE about them, especially Americans. And ESPECIALLY the higher end lines like Series 1964 or whatever they're called. 2000/3000 are the budget line and then they have the Serie 1926/1964 etc which get raved about constantly. Arturo Fuente is GOOD stuff. I like the AJF New World as well. Here are my personal recommendations as far as Non-Cubans go, not sure how much they go for in the UK but anyone reading this comment can check them out: Perdomo (20th Anniversary Maduro/12 Year Aged Vintage Maduro, and others), My Father/Don Pepin Garcia (Le Bijou 1922, Series JJ, Flor De Las Antillas Natural or Maduro, La Opulencia), Alec Bradley (Prensado, Tempus Maduro, and others), Drew Estate (Liga Privada No. 9, Undercrown Shade/Maduro/Sungrown).
Some great cigars there 😎! Non Cuban or New World cigars, as you call rhem, are great and often from my experience have much more flavor. I can recommend the following cigars you should try: My Father Le petit bijou 1922, La promesa, The judge and Flor de las Antillas Drew estate - maduro, sungrown Camacho (red, blue, yellow, orange cigarband) Oliva series O, G, Conneticut, double) Joya Silver and Antano Perdomo Lot 23 - Robusto or Gordito San Cistobal Papayago or Prophet Flor de rosa cheap budget sticks (comes in many sizes) and they are much better than Casa De Garcia in the same price range. A lot of people underestimate the “New World” Cigars and they are missing a lot! Happy smoking! 😎
The 858 maduro is my absolute favorite, $9 @ Neptune cigars. I got a box of vegafina in duty free for $88!!!... like dunc says , check out other countries , USA does it for me. Great video my friend!
Hi dunc, I’m trying to contact you but I can’t for some reason get onto Instagram , just came through Qatar duty free and picked you up a little pressie for review, how can I contact you?, sorry not good at this social media malarkey😆, have to quarentine in London for 14 days!, not sure I won’t smoke them all!!!
