Thought I recognized Emerald City and the Nine Mile Tower but when you blew past Gull Island and the Old Club, I knew this was Lake St. Clair. Beautiful sounding boat !
Awesome runner, those 1200hp Sterlings should push this 42 past 125-130mph. One question, what's the rebuild intervals when compared to the 1300hp Mercury Racing motors. Is it still 50-60 hours for at least a refresh??
Lol 125 you must be crazy. Not with 1,200's More like 110 ish.... Hey nat talking sh!t....it's an amazing machine. Absolutely spectacular.... Just saying 125-135 is another level.
oh goodness, a pair of sterlings is one of the finest things one could hear, and that is no crap, they power the fastest piston powered boats that exist.... wonderful engines.....
Nice vid!!! We wanna' hear those mother-fukken engines roar, not wind-noise. 90% of the fukken boat vids have wind-noise which really sucks!! Roar those bastard Sterlings, slam those fukken throttles down!!! Woo HOO!!!!
likely right around 100mph. This was the shakedown run after installing brand new motors, so we never went full throttle with it that day. The best I have seen with the boat is 110mph with 6 big passengers on the boat. The motors are slightly detuned so that the boat can be run on pump gas.
@@jetcruzr I've been 127 mph on Lake Michigan in an Outerlimits 42GTX with staggered Sterling 1200's back in 2004 during "Smoke on the Water" Poker Run. Wondering how this boat compares. The lake had a three foot chop and I believe that was with race fuel. It sure smelt like it. What a ride!
