This song, combined with the clips, is a dream. It captures the feeling of space and nothingness, melancholic contentment, and the peace after moving on from those you once claimed to love.

Sometimes, on a very rare occasion, a true master can connect the music and videoclips into something so distinguishably unique and wholesome that it stays forever in the heart of a viewer. Time after time I'm revisiting this video in different moods and with different problems and it never fails to completely dissolve me into a certain emotion that contains peacefulness, sadness and a weird nostalgia at the same time. The only other video like that for me is an "After Dark" clip with Jennifer Connelly, that with time got its' deserved recognition. Somehow enough people weren't lucky to recognize this video yet, even before deleting the original, which is a shame. What an absolute piece of art, one in a million.

April of 2021, I was going through a bunch of stuff and found the original video of this. I had never heard the song Apocalypse nor had I seen the film Columbus before. I am pretty familiar with the band's music now in 2022 and have purchased the film Columbus on digital format and Blu-ray because of this video. I have also been recommending them to friends and family. I don't understand the logic of thinking that videos like this somehow detract from the original works, the song and the film in this case. This video clearly demonstrated to me both the beauty of the film Columbus and the song Apocalypse. I am so glad you uploaded it again. Thank you so much.

I need to go back to Columbus IN and go sight seeing. I was only there in the morning hours filled with coffee trying to fix whatever mess Cummins Engine needed me to fix that day. It tainted the town mixing my own inadequacies at the time as a project manager with the beautiful sights because it is so easy to lose yourself in the moment. I need to go and visit some of these same places (the old bank for instance which I have been in the old vault too!) just to soak it in while listening to this beautiful music I just discovered last night. Great video!

This moving clip got me to seek out and watch Columbus. Glad I did, I was very moved by the film. Different…unique…subtle…like appreciating a good book or good architecture

omg, I thought this video was gone forever, glad you managed to reupload it!! It made me discover this movie and song and i've seen the entire movie, I don't understand why any of the two parties would want to take this video down since it's a great sell for both of them -_- But anyways, happy it's back up !

This movie and song reminds me so much of my best friend. She saved my life twice due to me loosing a lover from kidnapping. And painfully we have never meet in real life. She is searching for a love relation that lasts for ever, more and more she got into relations and lost them and she changed more and more to, even against me for unknown reasons. I so very much miss the times when we fist met. The love and care that was shared between us and how we used to talk and open up. Now we barely talk like we used to, it hurts. To this day i am waiting for her to come back. I have her name carved into 3 trees around my town. I sometimes go to the first one in a forest and just kind of sit there for an hour, sometimes even talk to it like it was her sitting there listening along to how my week has been. With the help of the gym i have tried to let go of the past, but it is just cemented in my mind. I don't know what to do, other than wait and hope she comes back. I very much doubt she will find this text. But if you do, J. I miss you so very much. I doubt you think back like i do and miss those times. But to me it meant the world. Just want you to know that.

I found this film by this edit one year ago and it was an amaizing experience, one of my fav films for sure, just a very nostalgic, melancholic and beautiful experience and this song fits perfectly. Btw, if you like dramatic and romantic films i recomend you Miasto 44, it is hard to watch but definitely worth seeing it. That film changed my life, i had never felt the amazing emotions i felt after watching it for the first time some years ago... if someone sees it please let me know what do you think.
