I am wondering whether I want to see a live concert or not - I’ve loved their music since forever, but I’m not into this whole screaming phone-holding crowd atmosphere. To me, they’d be perfect in a smaller bar setting where people are seated in big armchairs, holding their glass of whiskey, surrounded by dimmed light😅
@@ready4forthemoshpit for me personally, i hold up my phone and record, but i watch the show live with my eyes. it's a win-win. you get to experience the show live, while also recording the experience
@@Dwade1053 Must have been great seats...no sea of smartphones to obstruct your view and no "background vocalists" singing every song in your ears to distort Greg Gonzalez's voice.🙃
Came to this video to hear a live version of Neon Moon, and went straight to that part and heard all the talking and noise and just figured that was the vibe the whole show. I almost gave up on the video but when he stopped the show to address the problem I figured out both that the noise was just some shit going on and also that I have a lot of respect for Greg as a performer. Great job Greg.
was looking for this comment to figure out what happened at first I thought he said "is that a video camera right there" but he really said is everything okay right there
I totally agree. Finally I found someone has resonance with me. I like every part of the whole song. The opening of course lifts one's up almost immediate. Entering into the second part A after first chorus (after the fill-in music part) escalates the whole feeling and or person even much more leveled up intense and really "...now you're above..." that so higher up Heavenly omg... the chemical reaction of their music and lyrics often blend so well and brilliant that it's extremely luring, Lord!
What do you mean? I always attend a concert at floor level just so a sea of smartphones can obstruct my view. Then I move to higher seating for a better view...same thing...more smartphones. Now I just move around during the show...selling concessions...🙃😉
@@yanisboju3227 if i recall correctly, someone had fainted. forest hills stadium was absolutely packed and if i recall correctly, people definitely have been waiting 4-5 hours before CAS opened.
Makes absolutely no difference...wherever you are during the show, there will be a sea of smartphones to obstruct your view. Perhaps a blunt before and during the show will help...🙃
@@mikewild7321 there were soo many people just recording their main songs which was sorta disappointing but expected. I really only recorded my favorite song (Opera House) which was their last song played and I was over the moon. I ended up getting there about 2-ish hours before and still managed to snake my way up to the front towards right side of the stage where I was in the very front. It was an amazing idea to go there because I got not one but two guitar picks from Jacob (I believe) and Greg! I’ve never been happier.
They did away with the synth player in order to pay floor level concertgoers to sing all the songs. People actually "rehearse" in their cars and at home, then attend an actual show and "perform."🙃😉
Someone yelled, "Where's Waldo?!!!" Actually, the sea of smartphones comes absolutely free with the price of admission...to obstruct your view and hinder those who are actually trying to watch the performance...🙃
@@bardown7628 3/2/23 Columbus OH: At a Clan of Xymox performance, a few songs into the setlist, Ronny Moorings "politely" asked concertgoers to put away their smartphones and "actually watch and enjoy the fxcking show." The phones disappeared amid much applause. No more obstructed views.
They should have a no phones policy but a couple of cameras filming, and after the show you can walk up to the camera and claim part, or all of the recording.
