By far the best cillian murphy interview EVER! Such a joy to listen and see his personality without the bullshit invasive questions Hollywood reporters ask.
@@Topspin89 perhaps I shouldn't have said "invasive." Emphasis on "bullshit Hollywood questions." Personal questions or not, there are plenty of unoriginal Hollywood interviews that tell us nothing new or deep about the film being promoted. I have also watched loads of Cillian interviews. True there may not be people trying to pry DEEP into his personal life, there are still a bunch of reporters that ask silly surface level questions. Some off those silly questions ARE about the plot but lack depth. And others have nothing to do with the characters or plot. Cillian has a clear disinterest and loses engagement in those interviews...which happens a fair amount. I simply meant that this interview breaks beyond the boring and unoriginal Hollywood questions. He has a pre-existing relationship with the interviewer so it is refreshing to see his personality and sense of humor naturally come forth. There is no filler or formality needed to carry this interview which is lovely and rare to see. My point being that this wasn't the average awkward buzz feed style questionnaire. And while there may not be super deep personal questions about him...there are still plenty of interviews where he is asked questions about himself and not about the role/film. Whats your nickname? Whats its like having parents that are teachers? Can you speak French for me? Why aren't you on social media? Do your kids want to be actors? You are a musician? Whats the worst pronunciation of your name? Those are ALL questions he has been asked by an interviewer...and those are all personal questions/ unrelated to the role. Not saying they are offensive questions, but they are technically personal. Cillian doesn't show up to an interview with the same joy and passion when he is being asked silly, unoriginal, or personal questions. Compared to questions about the plot and film making process, he comes to life and provides insightful engaging answers.
This is the best interview I've come across yet. He is so relaxed. Hilarious. I can see why he thinks his friend is funny. I get so astounded that some of those post production interview junket 'journalists' can keep speaking while his eyes roll into the back of his head. If 'resting bitch face' was an Olympic sport I thought I'd be in for the win before I saw him. Wendy
So lovely to hear an interview with Cillian so relaxed, he often looks really uncomfortable on telly talking about himself. The bit about the woman and his blue eyes was hilarious, and absolute classic was the one word to describe how he stays looking so young. Loved it.
It's incredibly fascinating that he had been asked about the issue of weight loss years ago and now we know he actually did that when preparing for Oppenheimer
It's a shame he never went so far in music that he could go on in it actually without any limitation... Congrats for the Great Actor he is anyway, we love him so much like that!
I was having a pretty stressful day and that part about the old lady and his eyes had me laughing out loud. The "sorry" got me bursting. ( Somehow that's a real canadian answer to such a statement...🤣)
So eine schöne Interview, ich habe mich gefreut sehr um wunderschöne Stimme zu hören. Mr.Cillian Muphy klingt sehr locker, so leicht 😊Man denkt das auch ist dabei und mit unterhaltend 😊❤❤❤
The Last Waltz is a family favorite and saw Van Morrison first time in Nashville. You must be an old soul as I am 78 and love your music choices. Saw Bob Dylan in 1965 and Johnny Cash Show in Nashville in late 1968 and 1969. Loved Peaky Blinders music and Tommy.
Did he do that woman's voice ? wow! He can do female voices , he has got feminine features too, he is a multi talented guy , all rounder. I fell in love with you Cillian. Sad, that I don know you personally
Cellian 10:52 Murphy is such a delightful person. He is pleasant and down to earth, humorous and over all such a pleasure listening to his answers. I was not familiar with him until recently and must say I was very impressed. Hope to see more of his acting and wishing him well in his acting as well personal life!
So cool to hear them discuss if he's lose or gain weight for a role when he went on to lose weight for Oppenheimer and then win all the awards and an Oscar for it.
