I've read that 75% casualties in the civil war were from bp revolvers. Makes sense if you think about it. Those things were the m16 of the day. Many soldiers carried 2 or 3 at a time. Interesting vid. Thanks.
The vast majority of casualties were from disease. Due to the limitations of revolvers (took too long to load, and horrible accuracy), I highly doubt that the casualties incurred from revolvers was enough to warrant even passing mention, let alone 75% of combat casualties.
The reason why uberti stains thier grips that color is because, the originals were the exact same color! They have figured out a perfect match! Its beautiful and i don't know why, anyone would complain about it? Its fine, if you don't like the color. But, it is just like the original Colts were!
