The name of that specific plant might be one of these two: Juniper Spartan or, Juniper Blue Point. Either one of those varieties is a good choice to be trimmed into different topiary shapes. There are also other varieties of Juniper, which are the best suited for shearing into almost any type of form or shape. By personal experience my favorites are: Juniper Spearmint Juniper Chinensis Perfecta Juniper Canaertii or even Juniper Hetz Columnaris. The other part, the actual trimming into a shape requires TIME , PRACTICE and PATIENCE . anyone can become an expert, but only time will tell if the person has the skills

Jajajaja pues según la estetica del diseño, lo mas sencillo es lo más elegante, para ver formas de animales y etc. bien puedes ir a un zoológico o a un circo. tu comentario es bastante pedante y tu sentido de la estética es bastante corriente y si no lo crees así, pregúntale a un diseñador paisajista y te lo confirmará.
