Back in the old days, we would take the 30 minute drive south to cincy for the day of RR photography. start off at sharonville and proceed south. back then it was PC,BO/CO,NW,SR,LN with DTI thrown in. with CR things got interesting for a couple years, then things settled down. the calm before the storm. by 1985 decoursey and sharonville were piratically dead and with all the mergers things would never be the same. I have not spent a RR photo day in cincy for over 25 years now. maybe 1 day i will head on out and replicate some photos????????
I grew up in Reading and my Dad worked for the N&W. He worked at Clare and Berry yards. Then in 79 I worked for the N&W for about 8 months on the extra board and got to work with my Dad. I got married and moved away but when I came to visit I would go out and shoot video.
