Great multilanguage! I love seeing scenes of lesser done characters. I agree Lady Tremaine is a very underrated villain. She is just as iconic as The Evil Queen/Maleficent/Cruella DeVil but never got the same attention sadly. I love how petty she is for really no reason. She just lives for making poor Cindy's life miserable just because she can. Definitely one of the most realistic villains and scariest as a result. All the actresses did a great job in this scene. The ones that stood out as being a little extra deliciously wicked: Egyptian Arabic 1998, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech(Both), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish(She sounds quite scary!), French(Both), German, Indonesian, Italian 1967, Latin Spanish(both), Norwegian, Polish(Both), Serbian, Slovak(Both), Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian.
Her dynamic is so fascinating - most of the time she's almost polite to Cinderella; She speaks calmly and directly instead of constantly snapping, like the stepsisters do - except for short moments when her anger comes out - "HOLD YOUR TONGUE!" then she snaps back into her calm aloofness. She doesn't have to verbally abuse the girl, because she already has her under her thumb. And in moments like this it just lets her twist the knife even more.
In japanese, Oyasumi means literally "please rest", a subtle way of remarking with bold strokes that she manipulated her daughters just to make sure Cinderella remains in the house having a normal(ly sad) night.
7:41 My Country's one. Plus unlike others, Lady Tremaine literally said **"Take Care of this House."** before leaving. No wonder why Cinderella's dream was to leave this house forever.
In the part between when Mrs. Tremaine says "I won't have you upsetting yourselves." and the part where she says "Goodnight", there is absolutely no sound.
It's interesting that Latin Spanish 1997 and Polish 1961 add vocalizations for Cinderella while she surveys the damage, and that Persian cuts in underscoring from elsewhere in the movie.
A One Line of one of the most underrated villains I think. I picked the scene where even as a kid I wanted to kick her a*s. Who's your fav in this scene? And of course once again big thanks to William Meagher who got me loads of missing versions. This One Line wouldn't be so big without him! That's a really good and complete one-line. I also think Lady Tremaine is pretty underrated, and comsidering how evil she is, that's quite a surprise! Doesn't really matter the language, I think every time the desire of punching her right in the face is the same after every single time she says goodnight XD Is it me or in Russian she says "do svidaniya"? If possible that's even worse LOL
