1989 was very cool .... it looked like the world had decided not to blow it's brains out. It turned out that even the old Soviets loved their children, too .... Modern Russians by and large don't have children. The only thing propping up the birth rate in the Russian Federation are the poorer rural areas full of Muslims.
Unbelievable talent! Enormous amount of energy. None of the modern vloggers would be able to rock a stadium with such ease, maintaining extremely tight, high quality performance combined with all the moves, acrobatics and looks second to none. Legends. Gods of Rock. Cinderella.
Hey folks after this festival was another Epic journey❤ Monsters og Rock, 1991, Moscow❤ show start with fchking Pantera and finished with Metallica and ACDC collaboration❤all played for free to support freedom in USSR! I was there Lucky me and also a Million 600k fans❤the biggest Rock venue in Rock history❤from Russia with Love❤
Hard to believe how POLITICIANS can RUIN THE WORLD. The U.S. and Russian people have SO MUCH in common. I am from New York and have many friends there and in Eastern Europe.
Tom Keifer and Lita Ford are two rare musicians who can sing beautifully and play a rockin guitar at the same time. Not easy at all. Some sing then play but Tom is so deep in that fabled zone it's inspiring.
True, but taking '59 LPs on tour was 😥 even back then. And that Tele he throws around was a '52? I can only assume he had an amazing collection at home. I know by 1991 1959 LP was something like 200k (in 1980s dollars no less)
@Philip Holmes crap the 80’s guitars weren’t crap they were cool and new. don’ get me wrong I like the old LPs and Teles but 80’s guitars like Kramer berettas, Jackson Kelly’s and ESP custom made guitars were cool.
Sorry, but you don't play metal on fenders and les pauls. Cinderella were a bluesy hard rock band so ofcourse they could get away with playing the oldschool instruments - but if we're talking speed metal [which peaked in popularity in the 80s], you would straight up look goofy trying to play it on a fender like the one Tom is playing here. I think only Iron Maiden play metal on old school guitars - everyone else is "pointy".
One of those rock bands, that took performance & quality seriously. Well prepared & delivered a legendary performance...far beyond the quality of most shows...In short, it's a text book material. Loved it. ❤

@@worldsfinest1218 Look at the part of there comment I was simply agreeing with them but it unfortunately became the only way to enjoy a concert in 2020. Take under advisement from someone who has just survived covid 19 and still in recovery from it. All I'm saying is be careful. These days I'd rather watch a concert from my phone anymore because of this bullshit virus. Stay safe is all I'm saying and be careful.

You are 100% correct my friend! It was a great time to be alive and to be able to experience it first hand. Imagine being able to bring back a 20 something from today and have them hang out with us for a week? They wouldn't survive the trauma humiliation of having to be responsible for their own actions and masters of their own destiny. We would need to pack a whole bunch of participation trophies for them.
I saw Cinderella in the late 80s, fantastic concert… stage goes black but the piano intro to don’t know what you’ve got starts playing, still the stage is dark and we can’t see anything, then a spotlight shines to the rafters and there’s Tom being lowered down while playing a baby grand piano!!!! Fkn awesome
Wow amazing! I can't believe they did NOT play that here! I was looking for it. 😪😪😪 Wish I got to see em lige. They sound amazing here! I was born in '85. Seen some of the bands from back then but NOT Cinderella. ❤ From Los Angeles
Deep! I too miss the '70s and '80s songs -- coming from a 59-year-old. I remember getting into music as a 2nd grader and passionately recording songs from AM radio stations, on reel-to-reel tapes.
Yeah Jeff always was singing when he played his guitar I think that so cool he was great guitar rest in peace Jeff u are so missed by fans around the world
Three thoughts....First, if you did not live during this time, you have no idea the impact that this festival had. Look at how happy those people in the crowd are. Hatred and rivalries were forgotten, replaced by peace and rock 'n roll. Second, I saw Cinderella live 4 times, by far the tightest band I have ever seen. Having had a short career playing in two bands when I was in school, trust me, they were truly an incredible band live. Finally, God rest your soul Jeff Labar! We are devastated, and you are missed more than you could ever know.
Appreciate much! I was there and it was USSR under communism power...for us it was huge wave of fresh Air❤❤❤before show I meet Tommy Lee in subway❤ Dope
Tom was really great, but in my 1st day 12.08. Cinderella was so fucking laud thanks sound engineer, their big fun, that it made big discomfort - really much louder than all other
@@breastmeatonly They got lumped in with all the hair mental bands when they wren't so much that. They were an awesome blues rock band but were marketed as hair metal. They got shafted.
WOW! 🤯 They sounded AMAZING live. Thanks for posting, wish I was there! I would have been 4 years old. 🥲🇺🇸🥳 ❤️ From Los Angeles 5:43 Somebody Save Me 👍🫠💪 22:28 Coming Home 🛏️🏡🥲 27:37 Gypsy Road 🥳🎉😎 34:40 Nobodys Fool 🔥🥹👏 Where the 🤬 is Dont know what you got 'til its gone???? 😮💨😤

These guys gave 💯% of themselves at this show! It makes me feel happy and sad to see Jeff having such a good time doing what he loved. RIP Jeff LaBar and Gary Corbett 🙏🎸💕
what a hopeful time for world peace, and music, and being young. sad that it is 30 years later and we still haven't found world peace, music kinda crappy now and we're all old and ugly. ohwell....keep trying, i guess. Spasibo to all of you from a sad u.s. citizen for hosting this concert. we still haven't gotten our act together, unlike this band did that day. keep praying for us!
@@Devlins10 My peak years were in the 80's and 90's...I even played in a local band that did Cinderella, Tesla, even Kansas and Rush. I couldn't believe that Nirvana and grunge just killed off the hair-band era. I mean, I love some Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains, but, there was nothing like the 80's rock for me...Skid Row, Whitesnake, Ratt...man, those were some awesome bands! I'd be happy just to go back for a while, but damn, it'd be hard to leave.
@@davidpierce9949 I agree...I love Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Candlebox... it's just a shame that some really awesome albums got overlooked because of the grunge explosion...for example, Extreme - Three Sides to Every Story.
Saw these guys open for AC/DC in Ames,Iowa on a college road trip from Mankato,Mn my roommates and myself thought they blew AC/DC off the stage that night. Great band!
Saw them about 2 months before this show in Kansas. BulletBoys and Winger opened for them. Fantastic show, all 3 bands jammed 3 songs out at the end of the concert. Sweet Home Alabama, Rock n Roll (LZ) and Rock and Roll All Nite. Simply the best jam I've ever heard, 3 bass, 9 guitars, 3 drummers and 20 vocalists. I need a time machine, Calgon, take me away.
「See you next time!」
Cinderella was a great band. Unfortunately they got thrown into that "hair metal" genre, but they were so much more. Tom Keifer is extremely talented...he can write, play, perform, arrange, produce.....hes just a very talented musician who was always underrated.
Into my opinion, they were super talented hard rock/blues oriented. If some idiot paper stainer decided to classify them into the Hair Metal genre . . . It was his mistake.
Best solo and song in my opinion starts at 35:03 - Seeing the sea of people there to have a good time, with such joy on their faces, really makes me tear up. Can only imagine how amazing and epic it must have been to be there.
I Was 22 years old now 54 old man but I still love to see them again I saw them in Louisville Kentucky 1988 that’s was the first concert on the tour they was awesome I love Cinderella ROCK N ROLL🤟🤟🥃🍺👍🇺🇸❤️✝️
Tom sat behind me at a Brittany Fox show in North Jersey, probably 1986. He kicked my chair and I turned around and said, "Yo, Tommy!". He high-fived me and said, "Yo, dude!". This story is cool cause I was 14 yrs old at the time. Cool guy.
Tom and Mick Mars had same exact hair back then...Great Venue ,every show was great sound.. Russians know how to rock,Ocean of love there on that day in 1989....
Ok im sixty one years old i saw them in September of 91 in a club with my best friend Dawn the best concert ever and then i got Jeffs autograph the nicest person ever and then unfortunately i lost it so when he passed away i was crushed love them forever ❤😊
I think Cinderella would have been bigger if they had not done all this Hair Metal poser stuff. Yes, it was hip at the time, so they did it. But unlike other Hair bands they could actually really play. However, the Hard Rock and Metal scenes never took Cinderella seriously because of their image. When the Hair Metal trend ended, Cinderella went down with the other Hair bands. They could have survived If they were accepted in the Hard Rock world, but their image prevented that. Another proof that following fashion never pays off in the long run.
In 1994 I discovered this moscow live and fell in love with Cinderella went out and borrowed Night Songs album from a friend then went out and bought there two albums and still rocking with Cinderella in 2021 R. I. P. Jeff your my favorite guitar player for Cinderella. in 2000 i finally went to see them along with Poison, Dokken and Slaughter.
I had Tom sign my knockoff Strat back in 1990. This band was very influential in the styles I adopted. The signature still exists even tho my hair is gone, and this music still moves me.
I remember watching this I think it was Much Music. Holy shit, boy did that set rock. Bloody awesome. Those fans got a real treat. Love Cinderella, totally rock and roll. Tommy was phenomenal. What a set. 2022, Tommy is still rocking. God bless him and the late Jeff Labar. Miss you Jeff, you rocked.
No, just Tom, but everyone, notice the detail of all Jeff, Eric,Fred, I see the concert xxxxx times, great, fantastic band, where did the mistake happen, who knows the truth? I love them, from the beginning - to this day.🔥♥🎸💔♥🖤
@@akadkins69 That's nice. Do you know anything more about the band? A lot of information, I know about their beginnings. Eric's mother too, nice dialogue with her.
@anitaanita8666 oh my, cinderella was my very first concert in 1986 i was 11 years old and i have seen them live at least 12 times, come bery close to meeting tom in 1997... their first 4 albums i know by heart.....
@@akadkins69 It's a wonderful luck that you saw them, congratulations. I won't be lucky anymore on Cinderella. They left a piece of fantastic work. What is your favorite band?
