He could have simply had a private discussion with her away from everyone and calmly asked her what was going on. Both of them were doing favors for friends but only she wasn't making a big deal about it when she saw the two of them together. She was hurt but she kept it to herself. She's right, why didn't he start the fake relationship with his business partner? He involved the FL and now he's acting all sorts of stupid and possessive. Her senior is a friend that asked for a small favor to help him. At the very least, just ignore each other and have that discussion at home. He could have texted her that to avoid this scene. He didn't pick her up on a street corner. She's not a cheap floozy. She works hard and is honoring her part of the bargain. He needs to trust her until he's proven otherwise. He's got issues and needs to take his meds STAT!
