REMASTERED IN HD!! Official Music Video for Shelter Me performed by Cinderella. #Cinderella #ShelterMe #Remastered (C) 1992 The Island Def Jam Music Group
True Tom Keifer had the voice and was a damn good guitarist and songwriter as Cinderellla was just as good as Motley Crue, Guns N Roses and Skid Row in my ears although this song as more Stones inspired than their earlier harder hitting work, and as much as I love Axl Rose's vocals I think Tom would've fit AC⚡DC like a glove better than Axl did when Brian left them
Brother I swear they should have been way bigger. The more I listened to them the more I realized they're not a glam/hair metal band, they're a blues rock band disguised as a glam band. So damn talented.
@@hardnewstakenharder Not weird at all, you're comparing who is in vs. who is not. The same is done with sports HoF's. And if you're going to put in Joan Jett, Madonna and a bunch of rappers; then even a band like Cinderella should be in.
One of the greatest bands to emalgimate blues and rock, I really think their downfall was naming themselves Cinderella not that I don't like the name from a cult point of view but it just ain't marketable
I seen them all too brother. Def Leppard was a OMG concert never in my life have I seen a concert in the 80s sellout so fast and so many mlf's and their daughter's at a Concert. Hysteria was 85 percent female at of these concert across the USA.. 😁
Hell yeah man I had long ass hair back in the day and we would party on the weekend and crank this shit loud as we could and headbang so much I couldn't move my neck the next day or two 😂😂😂😂😎😎😎😎😎😎
Tom Keifer has an extremely effective appearance. Thick hair, bangs, earrings - everything is fine with him. Tall stature, languid eyes, seductive mouth. And a voice that cannot be confused with anyone. Perfectly played band, music at the highest level, with feeling and soul and deep meaning in the songs.
I was 12 when this song came out. Im now 45 and just saw Tom last Saturday. He STILL sounds great. Great great memories. As a kid, when all of my friends were listening to rap and such, i was still banging my head to 80s hair bands. 80s hair rock will always be one of my top genres
I’m 51 and Cinderella has been a favorite band since 1986 and it makes me happy to know you are still listening to them at 80 years old. You’re awesome 😎
This was the first big band I ever met in person. It was Indianapolis they opened up for David Lee Roth and security was so tight we couldn't get in. My friends and I saw the bus leaving so we followed them to the hotel we met them in the restaurant across the street and had a good conversation. Really down-to-earth guys I'll never forget that day. It's hard to believe it's been almost 40 years
is y'all go out on the road again before Kobe kids again I'm going to come see you I'm going to talk to the stage you're going to look back and sit until you food I want to talk to you about Blondie okay I love you goodnight Tom
The sax and background singers make this great song standout. I would’ve love to hear the Stones do this in the Mick Taylor years. Yes, I’m aware this is from the 80’s
Nah. Still do their songs at gigs. Used to do the guitar both bottle neck and lead. Now I play bass. A big ol F you to politicians, corporations, Al and his Ol' Lady and televangelist like Jimmy and Jim. Shit ZK we lived through the song or I did. Ozzy did think the bat was fake. Straight from Rolling Stone before it became political TP. The only time I would pick up a Rolling Stone "rag" is if I ran out of toilet paper. I read Guitar Magazine to read about actual musicians.
im the only one in my school who even knows who cinderella is my fav bands r cinderella bon jovi europe and a million other 80s bands 80s musci: cause ya dont know what ya got til its gone!!!
I was introduced to this type of music by my parents and i´ll be forever thankful to them because of it :) I love all these bands you mentioned , the 80´s had the best music ever :)
Everybody needs shelter and everybody needs a place to live and everybody needs to eat in this world so amen to Cinderella for singing this song and amen to the artists that created it Thank you God bless Amen love and light
My favorite Cinderella song! Said she seen the devil on the MTV! 2024 an 49 now an still rocking out to this song! An there’s a lot truth to this song if you think about!
Cinderella fan from the beginning and still am today! kiefers solo album is bad ass too! true Cinderella was way underated, I think they were before their time! kiefers vocals are one of a kind! never be another one that sounds like him ever!!!!!
Tom Kiefer's powerful and unique voice~ I never get tired of hearing it anytime ^^ Even though I'm not active right now~ I hope that my song will be sung forever ^^ Always be healthy ♡♡
Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf with Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through is a good one if you like that feel. It definitely uses the gospel sound more though.
There is no comparison with Carl Thomas Keifer (Tom) is the best hard rock metal singer-songwriter musician, composer and producer ever in rock music History. God bless you Tom. 🎸😎 👍
Im 14 yo and I LOVE their band. I wish they made music like this rn but kids my age are listening to nasty songs...just wish there was still music like the 80s,so jealous!
Really cool seeing Little Richard in this video. It's a great track by a really solid band, Tom Keifer is certainly one of the most underrated rock vocalists of the 80's, great, great voice.
You can’t go wrong with Little Richard as a “Guest Star”! 😆 Plus was that Shelley Duvall on one of the Phones?!? Awesome! Blues Rock with some gospel and a little Funk…Funk n’ Roll?!? 🤣 That Sax was Dope 🔥! 😎
I keep listening to this song and I see how well it was written produced n played... Tom Kiefer is very talented. Nice guitar player also. Impressive! Voice is crazy good!
Yeah, everyone Aqua-Netted their hair back then, didn't matter what your rock genre was. No big deal. Even the glam bands had talent, they just sounded different than blues or harder stuff.
@@foxbodyblues6709 IMHO, the guitar intro to "Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin' Apart at the Seams" was a sign of the musical direction that Tom Keifer and Co. wanted to head towards during the big hair metal craze.
RIP jeff labar. What a sad day. I was a Cinderella fanclub member back in college in the 90s and had signed guitar picks from them. I love this Band so much!
It's the music. Bluesy, hard rock, a little gospel, and a whole lotta truth. Excellent combination. Plus a set of pipes. Man. I'm still in love with the drummer💚💚💚💚💚
Tell that to the room of Cinderella Fan Club members in their home city like me who were stunned in silence when this This album took them from 10,000 at the Spectrum to a Spectrum theater show (half of it cut off) and not even 2000 people were there. We are talking their HOME base.
So sad to hear the news that Jeff has passed, great guitar player and loved seeing the band live, gutted when they called it quits,Rest in Peace and condolences to your family.
this band was favorite of mine because their songs are so solid and true!! glad I grew up in this era!! glad to say that "Don't know what you've got until it's gone" was the theme song at my junior/senior prom!! best memories ever how cool is that!!
too bad they thought of Cinderella as a name or they may have been taken more seriously cuz yeah the talent is there..good songs too. But damn thay name.
@@mooknick242 I think it was more the manager then the name. Gene Simmons found them but could not get them signed and then Jon Bon Jovi saw them one night and got Mercury Records to see and sign them and they should have used Doc McGhee as a manager who brought Bon Jovi, Motley Crüe and Scorpions to sucess instead of using Tim Heyne. Doc worked his butt off for his bands but over worked them.
What a kick-ass song - back in '90 my new bride and i were cruisin' down the backroads in an old International 4x4 with this song cranked up. What a fun time - GenX still rules.
Прекрасные " золушки" , группа моей молодости! Рок_ фестиваль в Москве в 1989 г по телевизору ночью показывали до 3 ч , а в 6 утра я на работу вставала! ❤😊
