thank you! i've been saying this under every episode. its like I don't wanna be against main girls family. but I'm at episode 10 and every episode her mom annoys the living hell out of me. just always nagging about marriage and then getting Xin family to promote her son for a favor only her upstanding daughter could provide is crazy!

She is the worst and her family tolerating her behavior is just sickening....she does not know when to stop because nobody calls her out.Honestly if i were her daughter i would call her out on it....

@@wakiomwakio143 I mean the daughter has been calling her out on it since she broke up with him. and a couple times even before that. but def since she broke up with him. but she's still her mom so she still tries to give her a chance. but the brother and dad, especially the dad need to do what you said and put her in her place for sure I agree with you lol.

exactly. there were times where I thought it was over for the mother. and then the next scene with her she's like what about the marriage? ... I'm like umm did I miss something? didn't you just get disrespected. she's quite possibly the worst main character mother that wasn't inherently evil.

I think she's the only one miserable and the dad, brother and sister just have loving family bond. I just found it annoying that every scene mom was in was about 1 thing her marriage. I had to keep hitting the skip button with her scenes a lot of the time lol

Her mother’s problem is greed. She was furious when she found out her daughter signed a pre-nup and her family wouldn’t be taken care of by their new son-in-law. The boyfriend /fiancé is under his parent’s control and doesn’t stand up for her, but he still wants to string her along with lies pretending everything is going to magically work out.

Should be called, "even the clips drag........." like most (not all) c-dramas. It could also be titled "lets do 37 episodes where we could do the storyline in 15". Sorry, but I am venting. I have watched a lot of K and C dramas. And I actually loved some of them. But after so many tropes and dragging the episodes out with slow motion, unnecessary scenes that just have a camera pan, triple takes on kiss scenes, phones turned off/battery is dead/lost/left at home, start a text then delete, won't call or text when IRL one would damn sure call or text in specific situations, and so many super rich Chinese families (really?), class warfare between the rich and well let's say the not rich, the bullying, and the sterile homes and offices, etc... So after watching about 25-30 or more of these in the past 2 years, The Best Choice Ever is for me, to stop watching them. K Dramas, while also with their trope problems, have much better shows, fewer episodes, and some just are absolutely amazing like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Business Proposal, Sh**ting Stars, Mr Queen, King the Land, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Something of 1%, Her Private Life, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, So I married My Anti-Fan, Love To Hate You, etc.... /end rant

Have you watched the drama? They’ve been in a relationship for 3 years. She didn’t know he came from a rich family because he lied about it through their entire relationship. He made her believe that he was from a poor background so she even tried to work hard to help him get a job and clothes to wear and things like that to help him “improve” himself so that they can build a life together. When all along it was a lie. Her mother is unbearable, that’s a fact but they’ve been insulting her and her family from the first meeting as if being poor automatically equates to being a good digger. They were angry about the prenup because it was done in a sneaky way. Why not discuss it upfront together as a family. Instead of drafting an agreement and telling her that she has to sign it behind everyone’s back to prove she doesn’t want their family money. The Fiancé didn’t even know about it. He only found out afterwards what his sister had done. I would be insulted too. The boyfriend’s mother even insinuated to her mom that she was involved in the backhand bidding and cost them a lot of money even after they already found out that she had nothing to do with it. His family is disgusting from beginning to end. Just cause they have money doesn’t justify that they’ve treated her like dirt the moment they learned of her existence.

She's very irritating isn't she? She seems to think she has a say in everything even if it doesn't concern her at all.

And she never seems to be in her own home. The brother even told her to go home and focus on her own family instead of always leaving her kid with the nanny
