American Jazz and Rock drummer Cindy Blackman Santana’s life goal is to become a musical virtuoso. She’s collaborated with some of the best in the business, drumming for Lenny Kravitz during his heyday, and touring with - and eventually marrying - Carlos Santana. Returning to her love of jazz, she spoke to Lisa Skerrett from The Mix during a series of gigs at Melbourne’s Bird’s Basement.
