I didn't realize she was such a big watch fan (above and beyond her partnership with Omega). It's great to see more women in this field and especially someone as iconic as Cindy.
Why is it that every HODINKEE interview ends so abruptly?? Like there really isn’t actually an ending at all, it just cuts off and it’s over. It’s like watching something on TV and just as it’s getting good, someone grabs the remote and shuts the TV off 😒 But with all that said, it was great to hear Cindy’s point of view on watches and at least they are consistent 😂
Curious why don’t y’all just release the whole thing on video to go with the pod. With the zoom format interviews, it’s almost illogical not to. Is it the amount of editing involved? The problem with securing the rights from the guest?
Great thing about these zoom interviews is checking out the fabulous homes ‘brand ambassadors’ have been able to buy with the juice their agents have squeezed from brands that hire them....while the interviewer asks questions from a small room in some tiny apartment 🤓 ....Cindy has it all worked out that’s why she has the piece unique plat watch she hardly wears, or bothers to wind 💰💰💰
The 42mm Seamaster 300m is better buying than the Rolex Submariner. 300m is a Secret Agent Watch that’s ready to handle anything life throws at it, plus it doubles as a serious dive watch unlike the LARP diver sub, and an anti magnetic watch that puts the milgauss to shame. Even the box is superior. Soon it’s going to start setting in that the sub has already been surpassed. Wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if the SM300m was already outselling the Submariner by miles.
OK I’m probably in the minority here...but Cindy doesn’t know what a watch winder is called...not sure she’s well versed to be on Hodinkee when the whole site exists for horological magic. Yes, you don’t have to be a watch nerd to appreciate a piece but just being a model doesn’t qualify you to be interviewed. Nor being a celebrity. I pray we don’t get dragged into watches as a fashion piece like a scarf or bracelet or like other lesser brands have devolved into...I love Cindy but this isn’t her strong suit. Wrong strata. Again, she’s wonderful, but perhaps find better read watch enthusiasts.
