My top-4 Scary Movies: 1. SM 3 - made me laugh 2. SM 1 - made me laugh as well 3. SM 4 - didn't leave an impression 4. SM 2 - good start, but ended up being quite a bore

First time watching 4th one was fun, second time too, but after that anytime I tried to watch it I always fell asleep halfway through. I never had that problem with the first 3 movies. Also Scary Movie 5 was one of the worst movies I've even seen till this day. It was so unfunny and cringe that I couldn't finish watching it.

That funeral scene is one of the most offensive scenes I've ever seen in a movie lmao, most R-rated movie scenes aren't nearly as offensive. I think scary movie 1&2 are better than 3&4, but I still think 3&4 are funny as hell and worth watching... And well, we don't talk about scary movie 5...

11:07 I never thought of it but the Ring wouldn't be scary now... Back in the day a tv was thick glass and 200 lbs, you couldn't break the screen with a sledgehammer. Nowadays if some creepy well witch starts crawling through your TV you can punch a hole in it and chuck it out the window before shes half out; sever the link and cut that witch in half.

The New Guy, Undercover Brother and Norbit are a few movies you should check out if you havent seen them yet. Different movies all but they all have Eddie Griffin and he kills it in each one. Definititely worth watching

Yeah, 'Meet the Parents' is a good comedy with a good cast. Including the actor who played Bobby in the first 'Scary Movie', Jon Abrahams.

Hey, Major! Your reaction here is one of my FAVORITE movie reactions EVER. Anytime I’m having a bad day or in a negative or bad mood, I immediately tune into this video. Scary Movie 3 is one of the FUNNIEST movies I’ve ever seen, even though the Ring/Tabitha part really creeps me out.

The Zuckers who did Airplane were the one's who did this movie and Scary Movie 4. That's one reason Leslie Nielsen was in the movies and did a cameo of, "I just wanna tell you both, good luck. We're all counting on you."

If you ever wonder "what is going on" while watching a scary movie, its robably a reference to a movie that you dont get. These movies are filled with references and almost every joke is making fun out of some other movie. You can find a list to every reference, its huge :D

My ranking of all Scary Movies is: 1 > 3 > 2 > 4 > 5 but 1 and 3 are almost on par with each other. I love 1 more because of the Wayans style and 3 is one of the best Zuckers movies. It's like the Naked Gun but more unhinged. I love Leslie Nielsen in this, Kevin Hart is in this before his rise to infinite fame, back then even Charlie Sheen was still likable. Shoutout to the OGs Cindy and Brenda (Anna Faris and Regina Hall), I love 3, but it is still how dirty they did the Wayans brothers. After forcing them to rush part 2, wich made the film far worse than it had to be, the took their franchise away from them. BTW I still need to watch Pootie Tang :D

I loved this one and part 4 the most of this series, but only because I gravitated more towards the silly, slapstick humor of Leslie Nielsen (RIP) than I do for the Wayans brothers. Just my own personal preference. Glad you had fun tho!

I saw these movies pretty young, I remember sometimes taking showers with my younger brother (we were both kids) and we'd laugh our asses off making the water run down our arms and pretending we are peeing out our fingers lol. It's still fairly crazy how many rater-R movies and unlimited PG13 movies my mom and super Mormon dad let us watch growing up (doubt my dad was too aware though). Luckily we still had adults around us to keep us in check on right and wrong, though a lot of the lessons didn't become as clear until we were older. The neighborhood Mormon kids were literally made to stay inside during summer I found out years later (from one of the kids themselves) cause we were "bad influences". Me and my 2 friends definitely ran the block so we'd of had some influence for sure lol. The reality is those kids did way more crazy shit in high school and such while we were chill straight edge kids. Guess they were in a more rebellious mood while we grew up understanding the reason certain things parents try to keep their kids from doing.

Scary Movie 1 & 3 are easily my favorites. 2 didn't do it for me at all and too over the top in some parts it was so eh to me. I even prefer 4 over 2 too. 2 just had too many too stupid things happen and was not on the same level as 1.

This was the first Scary Movie in the series not made by the Wayans brothers. However, it was made by Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker, the guys behind Airplane! and The Naked Gun. Sadly, this was the last decent parody movie in a long time, with most of the awful ones you can think of having been made by Friedberg and Seltzer, a duo of hacks who got a writing credit on the first Scary Movie for one or two jokes and banked *hard* on its reputation to sell their lame, unfunny shit.
