¡Felices fiestas!

This song tho... How is Hans such a genius??? How does he do it? If I could only have ONE talent, it would be to write music like this! It's like a physicist discovering new ways to describe the beauty and complexity of the universe using math and science, except Hans does this to describe and encapsulate experiences of the soul; using the abstract language of music, in his sweeping symphonies of emotion. Dunno if that makes any sense Lol but you get the idea...

It does make sense. Very well said. It's practically impossible to precisely describe what this music is...“transporting“. Plus I think everyone pretty much is uniquely influenced by music, especially that song. Time is without a single doubt a master piece. Deserves way more attention.

This comment has really stuck with me. The somewhat repetitive structure of the piece I imagine to be a bit like what the universe would sound like if we could hear it breathing. In this sense, dying with this music on is especially apt because at the point of death we are assimilated back into the oneness of the universe.

I'm 29 years old... For all these years, for the whole of my life, I've NEVER felt the need to gasp for breath due to overwhelming awe... Yes, I just found this song (despite I've seen Inception ^^' ). I also knew Hans is a musical genious... BUT THIS SONG... Or no... Doesn't song require lyrics? So... Just "Music"? BUT THIS MUSIC... It hits me to the core. It makes me think about all we all have, will have and have had on this world given to us. All the emotion this world has all it's history knows and future brings... The tenacity to thrive and to give our best to excist with which our planet is filled with... I feel Hans has been able to cram all this into these almost five mere minutes. Minutes which each reprecent an irreplaceable eternity of their own... Thank you Hans Zimmer, truly, thank you for such a marvelous music which words simply cant even start to describe.

Is it possible to "dislike" a song that touches any human's soul that has experienced any sort of emotion in their lifetime? The buildup of this song is addictive to hear, makes you want to hear for more. And when the climax of the song is reached, the amount of emotion and passion that pours out from it is almost overwhelming. The abstract language of music is something anyone can relate to and understand. Hans Zimmer is comparable to legends like Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. This is an incredible piece, I don't even know if I'd be capable of seeing it live. Hans is capable of creating pieces like this to describe the beauty of life and emotions. Incredible.

Christopher Nolan cheated when he decided to put this song in the final scene of the movie. He knew there was no way to overcome the climax scenes of the movie visually, so, smart enough, he decided to equal it through music; and we all are the victims of the epic results. Genius Chris, genius Hans.

tom hofhuis Hans Zimmer has a huge beautiful studio where he records and mixes his tracks... with the help of electronic/digital equipment. There is tons of music like this in the neoclassical/martial industrial genre and due to budget restrictions all is made with digital samples of strings, percussion and brass. Everything today is electronic ... Then of course we have Daft Punk's sountrack for "Tron Legacy" and the techno-electro soundtrack for Darren Aronofsky's brilliant film "Pi". Do not be quick to dismiss "electronic" music.

John Williams beats all - Star Wars would be average without the music, let alone Jurassic park- Jaws- Schindlers list- Saving private Ryan- Superman- Indiana Jones- Harry Potter- Et (my fave theme) and home alone

How can anyone dislike this? Don't look to the mainstream industry. The music is pure filth and may as well be porn, disturbing images for our children. This is beautiful. This is real music

Media and big business, advertisement. its what is forcefed to people these days that gets them hooked on certain Tv shows, products, music, etc.. like heroin to. short and fast. Flashy lights and big sounds gets people coming back for more. We don't live in a society where its slowed down anymore, humans are programmed to keep moving, survival to keep us alive so we are genetically attached to what people tell us to watch, to hear, to do.
