Absolutely outstanding! Easy to follow, step by step pacing. Your presentation on this is the best I've seen anywhere.

Only issue I have with Arnold is when I use it as a renderer it renders the textures on my model wrong and a bit shiny as like the clothes of my character appear like plastic and also in different positions... Forgive me for not saying the right terminology, english isn't my first language but It's driving nuts... And I've searched everywhere, followed every tutorial and still nothing... I do convert my textures to aistandard surface btw

Curious. Why did you disable the (sky) background and rendered an alpha image, couldnt you have just kept the background and added the rock in C4D and then rendered the image?

You can render it out that way if you want. For my workflow, I prefer to work with best quality footage or photos as possible. I always film in RAW or photograph in RAW. The background I used was just for reference to align the character in Cinema 4D. Once I go to post production (After Effects or Photoshop) I bring in my original RAW footage in because you have more flexibility in post. This is more work, but for me it gives me more flexibility when compositing and grading.

Can you create a quick tutorial on how to set-up/render a motion vector AOV in Arnold?

Coming soon! I have been working on film project where we need to use motion blur in the composite and I will show using the AOV vs built in motion blur. FYI Arnold states thats that using the motion blur inside of Arnold render is more accurate than the AOV method, but this obviously comes with extended render times and its baked in at that point.

Please... Is it possible to explain how to export the shadow and reflection of each layer separately with an engine Arnold step by step.... please sir

I'll make a basic After Effects compositing workflow video soon. But quickly, you add your desired AOVs in your render settings and export from C4D as OpenEXR file. Inside of After Effects import that multi-pass OpenEXR file and apply the Extractor effect and you will have all your separate passes in that one file.

@@mphillipsphotography7013 I just commented but saw this after. That's exactly what I'm doing.. Wasted 8 hours today and still not seeing anything in shadow layers (white or black only) even in renderer or IPR
