This is a behind the scenes of our home made BROLL video, what i made with my Girlfriend.
How to make a BROLL at home? I want to guide you the steps how i made this product video like "A filmmaking beginners guide and also Filmmaking tips for beginners".
I like filmmaking behind the scenes, because there are many tasks to solve and you know, how others solve it. Mastering cinematic B-roll, filmmaking, and product videography is very HARD in my opinion. You have to keep in mind the CAMERA SETTINGS, STORY, BROLL TRANSITIONS, LIGHTING, COLORGRADE etc.. Plan the camera movements, framing and composition is a difficult task.
Every time when I watch my video back I find something, what I do differently now, but this is the way how I learn.
When I saw the first BROLL video of my life from Peter Lindgren I was shocked. That was so cool. I want to try to making an EPIC BROLL using his techniques. That's the result. I hope you enjoyed.
I shot with the sony a7sIII and the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.
