I keep hearing you use the term 'footage' for something that is not using film. Footage means 'feet of film '. This is digital media and therefore known as VIDEOS ✅

Excellent tips! Obviously, post-production editing improves the media but how about using simple on-board settings for the semi-pro? More simply, how does one differentiate manual settings from automatic settings? Lots of talk about using ND filters but how does one master the onboard photography abilities, without post-footage editing.

PLEASE stop telling people there is "grain" in digital, which is 100% wrong. It's digital, not film. If you'd like, you can say noise. And please don't say blurry shots are "panning" shots. Pan doesn't mean blurry.

I wish people would Stop using the term 'footage' constantly when they talk about digital media. These are VIDEOS, not footage. No film is being used and 'footage' means 'feet of film '.

ND Filters make some functions Imposssible. By the Mini 3 is Aktive Track not possible. Mini 4 not testet.

*Good job covering all the bases on better, watchable, and interesting footage. Too many people skip over many of your points. Especially the long, drawn-out scenes with jerky moments. I hope the people who have watched this video apply your tips. It has taken me several years to learn these things on my own. Just wish you made this video 5 years ago. 👍*

Viel Spaß beim illegalen Fliegen. C0 ist nicht das Problem, sondern, dass man die Drohne nicht auch C1 fliegen darf. Aber da gibt es etwas Bewegung. Wird aber dauern.

Great explanations. I do have an important question which I have not seen discussed as what best setting (Brake or By Pass) to use in Obstacle Avoidance Action when you lose connection & the drone is return home automatically . For example, if my RTH height is set to 200ft, then i lose connection behind a 250ft high building, and my setting is Brake in Obstacle Avoidance Action, my assumption is that my drone will just hover at 200ft behind the bldg and the drone will never return back home. If my setting is set to By Pass in Obstacle Avoidance Action instead, will my drone fly around the bldg at 200ft until it sees or makes connection with my RC? Can you please comment on this so I know what setting to use in Obstacle Avoidance Action when I lose connection. Not sure if someone has already tested this but i appreciate your comment on my question. Thanks so much.

I’m from Bulgaria so I can’t say 100% but check their rules online and make sure you fly a registered drone 👍🏼

Can you tell me what the files named SRT and LRF mean that are recorded with the MP4 files on the sd card in the drone when you are recording video. Thx

.SRT files show your camera settings and additional info which can be overlayed on your footage, LRF literally means "low resolution file" which is something like a proxy file for your editing if needed.

This is mostly a personal preference, most people shoot in 24 or 30 fps, I shoot in 25 fps and 50fps if something will be slowed down later in post.
