A time lapse movie in UHD, 4K by MK timelapse GmbH, www.mktimelaps....
Built at Meyer and Neptun Shipyards in Germany and Meyer Turku in Finland, AIDAnova is the first of a new generation of LNG Powered Cruise Ships for Carnival Cruises - the Helios Class. The vessel is 337m Long and can house 6.600 passengers.
We filmed the entire construction process with our advanced MK V4 timelapse cameras, shooting 40mp images every single minute.
The music has been composed for this video by sound artist Harry Price:
www.harryprice.co / @itsharryprice
Listen here: lnkfi.re/hpcon...
"It's been awesome soundtracking this time-lapse with Max and the MK timelapse team. Not only are they true pros in their field, and the nicest guys, but they pretty much gave me a free reign to create something that would complement the magnificence of the AIDAnova and the incredible build visuals. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out - thanks guys!"

Even with computers the amount of hours just for a block(piece) is huge. I know because my wife is doing thins kind of work and she has days when she's spending minimum 10 hours for some piping, cables, ventilation and when you think you finished, are coming updates/changes from shipyard and you have to modify again. It's amazing to see the outcome after so many hours of work from a lot of people.

@@karadan100 this cruise ship uses liquified natural gas which means it should produces 25-30% less CO2, 80-95% less CO and NOx, and virtually 100% less SOx so in a summary, it’s significantly better for the environment compared to regular cruise ships. Just being able to witness a flat hull turn into a huge floating hotel is something special. I also love that the time lapse continues during the celebration and fireworks, as well as the maiden voyage. It somehow added to the awe of the whole process, as if celebrating the construction with fireworks and a band, and the maiden voyage, are just as essential to the construction as the rest of the video.

This video was ten times superior with all the editing. Better than the previous great video of Aida Nova cruisers. I wonder how many of these ships are there. This is the second one I see being constructed in this channel.
