CINEMATIC Tokyo, Shot in Anamorphic [Sony FX3 + Aivascope] 

That deep blue/ teal color grade 🤤 do you happen to have a tutorial to achieve that look?

When I dove deep into the anamorphic adapter rabbit hole I came to the conclusion that the Aivascope was the top choice. It really shows here. Amazing work as always!

Oh crap, you finally figured it out. Spherical lenses are day time television lenses. FULL STOP. Every time you've said "cinematic" on this channel in the past while shooting with inferior spherical I've chuckled and have thought... "how long till he figures out he needs to move into superior anamorphic? Will just sit back and see if it ever happens..." This is also the problem with the director Denis Villeneuve. Who everyone seems to think is the greatest but shoots Blade Runner and Dune on daytime television spherical lenses instead of cinemascope. Sigh.
