Cinematographer Claire Mathon on Portrait of a Lady on Fire (Subtitled, interview from 2019) 

The point she makes about bouncing a blend of varied light sources to mimic the nuances of natural light was a golden nugget of information. Wonderful cinematographer, would be a dream to be mentored by her.

I don't know how more people haven't watched this movie is incredible. Truly one of the best cinematographers!

It is not just a technically beautiful movie and in same scene it is like a painting..I remember there is a scene I really thought it is almost a painting not a frame ..which reminds me of the masterpiece Barry Lyndon
