Okay. I never comment on a recipe video after making it in real life.. But i JUST made these TODAY for the first time ever for my best friends cookie exchange party. It made 12 cookies, they truley were AMAZING, AND to top it off i won the cookie contest votes from both adults AND children so.. If your thinking of making these, Do it. My little tiny tweak was to add two small pinches of all spice to the crust mix and then very lightly press the cookie before baking. The timing was PERFECT and you really do see them puff a bit. Just trust it, mine came out great :) . I dont know why but i can really I.agine these with a light vanilla cream filling... Like a conolie creamcheese snickerdoodle lol

I'm a cook in a nursing home, and this x5 would be perfect for dessert! We have a big stand mixer, and this should be a snap. 80 residents, plus staff, so about 100. They look great.

Terrific cookies!! I made them last week for my holiday cookie tray. I love the texture. It was exactly as I imagined when I was watching the video. Tender cinnamon melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. I plan to make these often.

My mom made these for me and my dad over the weekend ngl I thought it wasn’t gonna be good. Boy that was the wrong thing to do. My dad didn’t like the texture of the cookie so I left him in the dust and devoured all 20 cookie my mom made 😭. These cookies are so freaking good.

Omgosh 🥰, it’s 12 am. Made the cookie dough, put in the fridge, let set bout 1 1/2 hours. Preheated my oven to 375•, now I’m bout to bake these little bundle of joy 😋! I am so excited! Gonna wake my grandbabies up to the smell of cookies 🍪 tomorrow morning…well, this morning, lol. Gonna tell them they get a grandma snack after breakfast 😋. I’m allowed to do that. I’m grandma 👵🏾. These were SO good but 8-9 minutes were not enough to bake them through. Had to keep putting them back in the oven but thanks for this! Loved them

Hmmm, this is long enough for me each time. Different ovens do vary but the texture is supposed to be almost creamy. Glad you still loved them.

Just a hint from John Kanell (Preppy Kitchen) I started weighing and sifting my flour on a food scale and it makes all the difference. I even compared both the scale and sifted flour to the scooped in measuring cups and there is quite a difference. 9 times out of 10 we use too much flour.

Cindy you are so right. Measuring is the most important and a scale makes it easier. Scraping the top of measuring cup with a spoon is so inaccurate.

they were delicious!, the bad part is that I added the cinnamon on the batter 😏 I got it mixed up with the the sugar with cinnamon but they were good anyways and fluffy and soft, I did not let them sit, they were so fluffy, thank God lol

I bet if you divide the dough in thirds, add red food coloring to one, and green to another, leaving the third one plain, take a little bit from each and roll into a ball. There's your Christmas cookies. Just an idea.

I tried this several times but never succeeded although I have made many more difficult types of cake and I dont know why. My cookies were still raw from the inside, wet and not fluffy as yours. Then I tried to bake it on lower temperature for longer but still did not work, my cookies turned very firm.

Here's a tip guys..before you refrigerate the mixture, shape and roll the cookies beforehand. Chill, then place right in the oven! Saves so much time! 🤗

Nope doesn't make a difference, just the vanilla flavor is more intense with the paste, but no biggie

I used a cookie scoop and silicone mat, I scooped them before I refrigerated them. Then after they set, rolled them into balls. I don't like to fight with dough after it's gets hard.

I modified the flour to gluten free flour and used Erythritol instead of powdered sugar and used coconut sugar for the coating instead of regular sugar. Cookies are in the oven right now... we'll see if they're any good 😋
