thank you very much for making these videos! just received my CR last week and so much easier to understand the functions by watching you go through them live.
Finally got one last week and love it so much, was precisely what I was looking for! One thing I cannot seem to figure out is what the best way is to sync my CR with Pam & Metropolix.. What made the most sense to me is to let CA be the master clock with clock out (CA) to clock in (Pam) - Pam then drives the Metropolix.. The only thing I cannot seem to get to work is have the reset out (CA) to reset in (MP), it doesn't seem to do anything. Been reading the manual and not sure what I am doing wrong.. thanks for any help!!
Can a gate from someting like the Doepfer A-190-4, work as a clock input for the CR? The A-190-4 also has clock out, but the timing is not as tight as sending a 16th gate from my DAW via MIDI.
I just bought the Z-DSP and it is totally distorted no matter how I patch it or adjust the levels of analog feedback and input gain. Is the machine defective?
I'm finally in a position to add this module to my rhythms/ drum machine case..... however, I was curious to know..... is this thing capable of sending out accents to the tiptop drum modules? Maybe use one of the channels to mult out to the drum modules to achieve xox type accents? I also own the trigger riot..... an awesome module..... unless I sync that to the CR and use that for accents!
oh my...... thanks for replying folks! awesome, i've lusted after the CR since i first saw the teaser video, now i can actually afford to get it! owning the original TRx0x drum machines and being so used to their interface, i was always a fan of the accent function...... having that in the eurorack world and getting the most out of your 808/909 drum modules is a dream come true! incidentally....... do you have any plans to release the 808 cymbal? thanks again....... keep up the awesome work! best regards from belfast northern ireland alex
