I have to watch all the replays But I so enjoy you...I definatly am going to try these & to be honest I've just found you and have learned so much thank you for making my relaxing time before I fall asleep at night.. wil be watching all of ur videos.
At 36:04 - Evening Evergreen was a perfect green to create a Christmas tree. I should submit a comment to SU's "sandbox" asking them to bring it back. Meanwhile, Shaded Spruce would be an acceptable stand-in. I enjoy learning your helpful hints and will definitely put alcohol swabs on my shopping list for my paper trimmer. 😊
Watching the replay. If you wanted to put the “inside” piece on the back instead of the front, you would trim the right edge of the front part of the card to make it a bit smaller so it doesn’t stick out. You end up trimming one edge or the other, depending on how you wish to assemble the card. Love the cards!
Hi Patty, I saw this card done a couple of years ago and I lost who did it and was very sad because I love this card. You made it so much easier and I am saving your video. I am definitely making C.A.S.E.ing this card. THank you, thank you, thank you!!
Watching and following you I made a perfect sample to follow. Thank you for sharing. You burst my bubble. I thought that cleaning the cutter with Alcohol Prep Pads was my idea.
Thanks for the tips on how to clean the channel where the blade of the trimmer goes. I never would have thought of cleaning it with an alcohol wipe! Great way to get blue out of the tract!
Beautiful fun folds Patty! Loved this easy peasy video! Thank You also for the cutter tip! I am always fighting to keep the track clean! You are a wonderful instructor,as well as a very sweet lady! Love your videos! Thank You! Blessings!💕
Watched your replay made the angel one while crafting along with you, did mine with black embossing on vellum that way it looked more like a stainglass window. Working on Santa now. Thank you for the fun fold and easy instructions.
Such a cool card! I make Christmas card kits for our large bereavement ministry (200 cards, 130 tags) and this one looks like a whole lotta fun! They”ll love putting this together. I am waiting on the UPS guy for this fun stamp set. Thank you so much.
These cards look amazing, I like all of them. I have done this fun fold before but I can't remember from whom I got the video from. It's so much fun to do and I will be making more as I do have the stylish shape dies! Thanks, for your video, I will be using this one for sure! I also like all your tips and colouring tips with the blends! Joan
There is another reason to arrange the two card pieces as you suggest. If you put the right piece on the outside back, the raw edge will be visible on the outside left edge of the finished card - - which is undesirable, in my opinion. 😊
You might be able to take off just a little bit of the cardstock on the other piece if you want to layer it the opposite direction. I think this would be great Christmas Cards! I have the Very Merry stamp set love the stained glass designs! Also your card design want to try it. I also like the cardinal and the gingerbread house designs.
Patty, I am awed by your coloring. But how do you prevent the blends bleeding out of the stamped lines? That happens to me so often, especially with thin lines. That is so frustrating! I love the fold, but it will make the card heavier than 20 grams, which is next to nothing, making the card & envelope cost about 2 euros, if not a bit more. Many Europeans don't send Christmas cards anymore, they just send an email or even a Whatsapp. So sad, so impersonal. I will not give in to that trend! I will make cards, even if postage is more! My way of protest, I suppose. Thank you SO much❣
