Circle Jerks are fucking legendary, and I feel certain that this song in particular will stick with me even when I'm long dead and gone and nothing but ashes in my coffin... and those ashes will be slamming. There's one other song that I'm pretty sure we'll have the same effect to my ashes... Fugazi's Waiting Room. I've alw ays believed that song with custom built to be played live cuz even the paralyzed can't help but get up and move.
Holy shit... Biscuits always took things to a much higher level, no matter which band he was in. I really wish he would have stuck with the Jerks long enough to play on an album. Fuckin’ great footage here.
@@zandermolster3135 Yes, it is. A very young Keith Morris. Strange to think I'll be seeing him in 2 weeks, on stage, still fronting Circle jerks. Doesn't quite move like that anymore, but just as snotty and great as 1985.
This is when everybody wanted to be a punk rock. By 1981 sept punk hit the main stream and alot of the guy's I knew started to switch over to speed metal. I was at the last Germ gig at the Starwood in Hollywood when Darby died that week. You can hear my brother on the white record when it was record there.
I have this on VHS somewhere in my collection. It was from a a short lived show called Rock Palace circa 1984. Filmed at the Palace on Vine St. in Hollywood.

This is that great Jerks lineup with Earl Liberty on bass and Chuck Biscuits on drums. So much energy and talent in that band. Too bad they didn't make a record with those guys. I heard Earl found religion and gave up rock 'n' roll.
@sonicvisionmedia I wasn't sure, but I thought that was Earl. He went on to tour with Saccharine Trust at one point and I'll always remember when he got up to sing with Black Flag during T.V. Party. He had just lost a tooth and there's footage somewhere where he says one of the lines and the camera catches him at the right moment ~ very Addams Family look to it! This is great footage. Cheers!
