Demo for the circuit bent Baby Einstein Magic Touch Piano by Hape. It has some classic baby book melodies that can be truncated and spun out. The default instrument sound is a punchy vibraphone with a diatonic octave of notes. I have added a switch for a fine tune pitch and one for a drain bend. Two touch contacts and 1/4" output make this circuit bent toy very playable.

I'm surprised a toy from 2019 uses the old circuit design. that's capable of pitch change

They make a lot things I’ve had no luck with but these sound great. SMD build with a clock.

Hey Christopher. I dig the tone of it. R1 is the SMD pitch resistor that I soldered on to either side of. You will need a squarish type bit for two of the screws on the back side.

Is that a touch sensitive pot for the tremolo? Whats the formal name of the component?

linear potentiometer controlling the pitch. The 2 bolts are touch sensitive and crudely manipulate the pitch as well. It's tremolo-ish.
