It is a shame a lot of the old race tracks are being lost to "development"!! In the area where I live there have been several old dirt tracks lost to "development" over the years!! At least there was another paved oval track built in place of the one, But now that too is going to waste!! The owner who had operated it as a race track, did a poor job at marketing the races each year, and therefore less and less people attended the races!! So eventually he sold it to another person who operated it as a race track for a couple more years! But same thing NO Marketing of the races!! So he closed the track and took out the grand stands to other tracks that he owned!! Then sold it to some developer! The Last I had heard, he had wanted to build a multi-unit housing development, commercial properties, and entertainment complex!! But the Local municipality did not like the plan because of the "Traffic" that would be using the site. So the Race track still sits abandoned and rotting away!!

As a fan of old and abandoned circuits, I love your channel. I've visited a number of the circuits you've featured recently such as Reims-Gueux, Clermont Ferrand and Spa, and they are all fascinating places. Just subscribed to your channel, dont know why I haven't before. I recommend if you're ever in Italy you try to pay a visit to a little known circuit called Casale Monferrato which saw racing from 1973 - 1990 for national racing and testing. I've never visited the circuit myself which is gutting considering I was less than 25km away form it last year on my holiday.
