I hate the fact that this isn’t and never will be in gapple, this is one of the best marathon songs I’ve heard that isn’t algebra or ferocious! Great job as always!
It's one thing to make a 40 minute song It's a complete and distinct other to make a 40 minute song that keeps itself interesting and actually sounds like it had effort put into it Never stop you're genuinely amazing
An interpretation of what is going on. It's long, but so is the song: Dave welcomes you to his futuristic school, recognizing you despite it being thousands of years. You're just that memorable, it seems. He tells you to do math, but not without a familiar rap battle like old times. Tristan falls from the ceiling and has a turn. During, the lights go out and Dave leaves to fix the power (because he becomes translucent once it's dark, and opaque again when it's back). You win and carry on your way. MONOTOR-0 sees you and you two have a singing good time. Overhearing the ruckus, Silver Man comes in with a screech and starts wailing on you. He is very aggressive but you somehow manage to overpower him. You see Spike and it looks like he's about to sing, but Gotta Sleep barges in and blows him up, way too excited and can't wait his turn. After he's dealt with, Spike (who's perfectly fine, hooray!) gets his chance. And loses. Elsewhere is Scientist, who happily puts aside her work for you. So much so that she is thoroughly distracted from it. Tristan shows up again and interrupts, but Scientist just lets him sing with the both of you. You finally decide to do the math. Dave finds you, and he's angry! It's hard to tell what he's saying here (as of writing this, I have yet to find a transcription, so bear with me here because I could be wrong), so my thoughts are: He knows what you're really up to, and is going to stop you before things get out of hand. Dave is more aggro here, but you escape from his clutches. You encounter Silver again, and you're not looking forward to another lyrical pummeling. But, surprisingly, he asks first this time. You... Accept, because you don't know why. But you do. Silver still looks like he hates you, but this round is less of an attack, and more like a duet. Is he having fun? Possibly. Then, MONOTOR-0 throws you both into detention for... Some reason. With whatever the heck happened, Silver sides with you (given how you and him alternate turns)! It's refreshing to have a... An ally? A friend? You have no idea. But all that goes up in flames as Spike appears and blows them both up (I have no idea if they survive). Spike is pissed, and it seems odd until you realize - oh, he's a sore loser. Your bars are still more fire than his, but then your flow is completely crushed by Gotta Sleep arriving again. Good God can't this guy just WAIT?! However, he simply has his own turns, resulting in a triple threat rap battle. Whoa. Things are getting wild, but luckily you find Scientist again. However, she's concerned about what happened while you two were singing. After another round to retrace her steps, she remembers! She tries to tell you (something about a project), but then Dave shows up and murders her (as confirmed by Reid). And it looks like you're next. All the chaos you've been bringing with your presence and actions have finally caught up to you. You must escape Dave again, but this time for good. It's not easy, but you manage. You end up in a new room, with a vastly different vibe. It's quiet, and almost empty. You feel forlorn, and you can't place why. Maybe it's because the one person in that school who made sense was killed, and maybe because your new friend (possibly) also died (possibly). Maybe, it's the aura of the room. Or maybe, it's a mixture. But by ending up here, it's revealed that you got all the math questions wrong. You truly did cause a lot of issues for Dave and his school. Perhaps regret is a part of it. You sing to yourself, because it's always cheered you up before, but it doesn't work this time. You see a glitching entity (who looks like Baldi), who tries to tell you something important. It's hard to understand, so you keep asking. But eventually, the corruption becomes too great, the being panics, and soon, you're taken out of there. Dave is back. Did he pull you out of there? Your mind's a bit foggy on those events. He's not upset at you anymore. In fact, he takes the blame for all that's transpired. He sings with you one last time to make amends, and it's a heartwarming moment, until you remember that he literally killed Scientist. You don't know what to think about this, but you duet with him anyway, just so you can finally get the Hell out of here. It's hard to trust a guy who killed the nicest person there. Wait, what's that? A time machine? Why it its button shaped like the Replay symbol? You want to press it so badly. Maybe things could go differently.
i found official lyrics from reid replying to another comment "My anger is brewing, but this tirade is grueling. Do what you please, but I wouldn't bend the ruling. You won't shut up, cause you don't know what you're doing. I will stop you now, cause there's nobody you're fooling!"
Hell naw, of all the long FNF songs I've listened to, honestly this is one of the BEST, the instrumental is a delight and especially the drops when the character changes, also to add I always had the illusion that there was a hidden character in the secret room of the original mod, I'm a bit sad that there wasn't something there in reality. but seriously, you did a lot of work with this one and it sounds great, I hope it appears in the Gapple mod, this is just a Chef kiss moment 🤏
I’ve been lisening to this song ever since it came out, I’ve remembered so many good times while Lisening to this. Idk if I should say thank you for making this or giving me “nostalgia” despite it being a year old 😅
Gosh darn, this is like a mashup of all of my favorite songs you made! This is so damn good! Wait, did he really just vaporize the scientist into thin air?
Oops, forgot to leave my comment here! I've already listened to this song like 10 times (lost count) You are a very talented composer and I'm inspired by your abilities! I absolutely love how you tie in one of the very first motifs in one of the last verses ( 0:53 -> 39:27), it really adds emphasis to it!
"My anger is brewing, but this tirade is grueling. Do what you please, but I wouldn't bend the ruling. You won't shut up, cause you don't know what you're doing. I will stop you now, cause there's nobody you're fooling!" Straight bars
Second Chance by Lolllllllllllik (Idk if I included enough Ls) is a two hour marathon song created to celebrate 20 subscribers. The search for the longest marathon song is definitely an interesting one.
New world record on a FNF' sounding great the whole time through! 41.5 minutes! Previous contenders: Normal 2 (Technically) Simultaneous Covertory 𝓐𝓷𝓸𝓶𝓪𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓼 Destination
I know its a strange request but will you consider releasing a vocal midi and/or flp of this? I really wanna make a remix but recreating all of the vocals is a major challenge due to the songs time
@@daveandbambishorts6616rong, there are over 15 songs longer than this. The longest one out of them all is Harmonization (Antipatement 3). It belongs to the Department series by mr. Giovanni.
