Circular Economy: Sandwich-moulded components with a recycled core | ENGEL skinmelt 

Using the ENGEL skinmelt plasticising process, recycled material can be used more widely in sandwich components whose core consists of recycled material embedded in virgin material.
Skinmelt is a technology that enables the use of approximately 50 % recycled materials content depending on the part geometry. Watch the manufacturing of transport boxes from recycled and virgin material on a duo 3660H/1560W/450 combi using the ENGEL skinmelt method. Both materials are poly-propylene.
