These can be built for use with any size saw and can provide much of the functionality of an expensive track saw without spending several hundred dollars. This is a great project for beginners to build and use in order to get more accurate cuts with their circular saw which can lead to many more fun projects. Thanks for watching. What material did you stick to the bottom? I assume it was some rubbery substance intended to keep the guide from slipping around. How is the sticky factor holding up? Did it work as intended? So many questions, asked out of logical order :P

It’s tool box drawer liner I picked up at Home Depot...10 bucks I think. It’s not really sticky as much as just non-slip. With very light pressure the board will not slide around on your work piece. So far it’s working great. The only issue I had is with the spray adhesive. I cover this in my website article but basically I used a light duty adhesive and it started to come loose after about a week just sitting in the shop. I went back with a pro grade heavy duty spray, also from Loctite and I can tell it’s holding much stronger...no further issues with that so far! Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
