The spotter knew. As an audience member seeing the spotter drop the rope I know something happened. And I would stay calm for the kids who don't understand.
@@southtexasobserver3306exactly! Looked like they were ready to me. She ddnt die so mission accomplished. How tf can someone TRULY prepare for an emergency?! Be real
@@Frm_nature that's not how you move a person with a possible spinal injury. they let her flop twice, and shook her all sorts of ways while carrying her out. a paramedic and appropriate equipment should always be on site.
Context: As you watched the video. The lady who was spinning on the rope passed out since the rope was connected to her neck ( which is such a stupid idea to do ) and yeah, the crowd basically just witnessed almost a death.
It's not even about her neck being broken, she was suffocating for a while. It only takes a minute for brain cells to start dying and she didn't give any signal she was struggling
@@aquawoelfly try typing right first before you respond. That limpness in her body is death. Passing out looks different. Multiple outlets have confirmed she died. Try again
People perform by hanging from their necks all of the time. It wasnt choking her because she was hanging from the back of her neck, no pressure on her windpipe. What likely happened is that the pressure on her neck and the spinning made her lose consciousness but didn't put her life at immediate risk. If she somehow shifted into a more dangerous position it would be a different story
Guys the audience likely didn't have a reaction because they thought it apart of the show and later were probably in shock. When i first saw this i thought it was some cool trick apart of the show too. You can literally hear them getting louder near the end as they were starting to process.
Oh great yeah they didint have a reaction they might have thought it was apart of the show but only if because they had people running her out frantically what happened is that they were in shock
when she spinned, the rope also starting tightening and wrapping up, so it caused her to not be able to breath, honestly this stunt was very stupid and they shouldnt have done it
She went to sleep after her carotid arteries were blocked, I'm guessing. Probably no long term harm, her brain was without (sufficient) blood supply for like 10 seconds.
From what I understand it’s just part of the performance, the audience is supposed to think she’s hurt or something, I’ve seen stuff like that before. But who knows, I don’t want to die and then someone says it’s fake 🤷♂️
For people who don't understand there was something tied on the girl's neck and then she started choking and the guy that was spinning her around made her choke more
This woman is dead and they actually had a chance to save her. The strap around her neck begins cutting off her blood's circulation to her brain since it's squeezing on the carotid arteries with the force of her own bodyweight plus the force from her rotation. She'll still have been able to breathe but likely would have seen the edges of her vision going dark, thus reaching for the strap to try and relieve pressure from her neck as you see before she goes limp. All of this only takes a few seconds before she is unconscious. For every second that she was unconscious without blood supply to her brain, she would have been suffering brain damage. It looks like she remains suspended for about 10 full seconds with all of that pressure crushing her arteries. After she reaches the ground, the crew fail to address what's happened and rather than lift her legs to get blood flowing back to her head, they crowd around her like idiots and run off with her body still practically upright. By the time they disappear backstage it's been nearly 30 full seconds that she's remained unconscious and it's very likely that she's dead. Important note here for people with doubt, citing that she crosses her legs before landing and that is somehow proof she's okay: watch the video again. The only reason her leg moves is because of the forces enacted on her limp body by her own spin. You are watching an aerialist's death that her colleagues all played a part in.
Nope. If she was unconscious she would not have been able to hold her body weight on the rope in a hyper-extended neck position. This is a very specific position unlike a typical hangman style. If she stops tensing the back of her neck (such as losing consciousness) , her head will tilt forward and she would fall out of the rope. Therefore, she is conscious all the way to the ground. It’s highly likely it’s part of a circus act
Everyone saying she crossed her legs... An unconsciuos body is like jelly, looks like her legs just crossed while turning. And when the guy put her on his shoulders, she still looks like jelly. So, I don't know if she survived but it didn't look staged at all.
Well, she also tried to put her arm around him. So she was either partly conscious or its stage. There is no information yet on what happened to her. One media stated she passed away but it's not reliable so they could be basing it on observations.
Maybe it just bc I'm a Trauma nurse but I realized she was in distress waayy before her so called "spotters" or whatever u call them did. She was CLEARLY signaling that something was wrong while they were looking right at her!🤦Smh. Hopefully it was just her air flow was just cut off n she only passed out. With proper emergency care she should've been able to recover. I pray that's the case.🙏
It says in articles that the women performing died due to suffocation, cause you can see the rope was tied to the back of her head and when she was spinning it tightened the rope killing her
It’s very unlikely that she died. Her arteries/airway was blocked off for a few seconds. She accidentally choked herself out- she’s likely totally fine.
Her legs cross because of force from her body's rotation man watch it again. She's completely limp, safe to say she's very dead after being kept suspended for so long after going unconscious AND then with her colleagues all rushing off with her body instead of lifting her legs up to try and let blood flow back into her brain. You're looking at a floppy corpse.
For all the people with problems with understanding basic sh1t even nurses (which is terrifying tbh, absolutely terrifying) the rope doesn’t once go around her throat, the issue was never a lack of oxygen, she isn’t being “hung” or choked or anything like that, the rope goes around the back of the head, and supports her body weight by holding her up by the back of the neck, not the front, your airways / throat is in the FRONT 😂 I can’t believe how many people are trying to explain the situation and are getting it wrong, I could understand that if there wasn’t a visual but we are WATCHING IT 😂 you can’t explain what happened because we genuinely don’t know, all we know is she was spinning, and then she wasn’t. It could have been anything. Seizure, fear, heart issues, migraine, spasms in muscle tissue, a spinal issue, we don’t know, we can’t find out. But at the very least, stop saying she was being hung and “nobody did anything” civilians can’t do anything it’s illegal and they’re not even trained, what are they gonna do, run up and say over and over “are you okay? do you need a doctor?” they have to stay out of the way so any professional help can reach her. For the last time, she didn’t choke or lose oxygen! people don’t breathe using their spine they breathe using their mouth/nose/windpipe (in the throat aka the front of the neck, and lungs! these can’t be blocked off from the BACK of the neck I am so worried for how stupid so many people are. And a lot of you are allowed to drive CARS. So concerning honestly.
My question is: why didn't they start firstaid giving the CPR straight away, instead og carrying her out, and maybe causing more damage to rhe spine???😢
Holy crap!! I can't believe they carried her off like a sac of flower!! Her neck was broken for Pete's sake!! How can they not have medics traveling with them for such occasions? My heart goes out to her and her loved ones. I'm sure the workers meant well, but, wow.

Yup you only faint then your trainer wakes you up after some time with water/ smelling salts etc The problem here is the dislocating of the nick causing complete tear of spiral cord and complete paralysis
If she is passed out, how is she moving? When dropped, she djusted for landing and then she tried to put her arm over his neck as they carried her away.
Obviously fatal. Either hanged to death or broke her neck. No one knows CPR in India and none of those guys are likely to have the sense to call an ambulance asap. RIP young woman.
@@WalterSobchak101There always used to be a doctor in our Circus. We even had an ambulance standing. Name is Ajanta circus. I am pretty sure people don't want you around in an emergency. Who knows you might kill them just to get out of it.

money. simply, circuses are pretty old forms of entertainment where people are trained to do dangerous but entertaining enough acts to earn enough money.
Normally, there's a ball bearing between the rope and the headsling, so you could in theory turn forever, without an issue. Guess the bearing got removed because it was faulty and since in India, a life isn't worth as much as a new bearing... this.
Agreed. Also right before the rope started to lower her down, it looked like she kind of threw her arms out like what the heck is going on. It was almost like it was taking them longer than usual to bring her down. Those things coupled with the fact that not a single person in the audience jumped up or showed any sign of concern makes me think that it’s part of the show and the audience is warned ahead of time that there will be drama or something like that and to just remain seated.
@@robinkrenek13 could you link the Google source that said it was an arterial tear? The reason I ask is because I did Google this and I reworded it several different ways to try and get all the info I could about this, but unfortunately, every time I kept getting the same two articles. The first article was from a daily tabloid magazine based out of Madrid, Spain called Marca and the second article gave a blurb about it along with a link that took you back to the first article I found in Marca. In that original article they simply say that she died during a live performance, but they do not state the cause of death. I just wanted to see if the source that you got your information from was a reputable news source because it’s hard to take what a Spanish tabloid is saying as fact.

She had active LOC for less than a minute. Looked to be 30 seconds. She’ll be ok. Brain takes 4 minutes to start suffering any anoxic injury. May need a good sternum rub or slap to the face to get her breathing again if she doesn’t start on her own, but she SHOULD be ok. Scary for sure but they got her down in time. Could done a lil…. Better tho…..
She passed out but I believe gained consciousness again because she does cross her legs right as the guy catches her, she probably shine back up a bit thinking she was still in the air performing or to avoid any further injury coming down. Think about you having pressure on the back of your neck as you spin around many times hella fast, wouldn’t it make you go limp as she did? She’s a performer and a professional but even they have slip ups. Maybe she was hot and dehydrated that day, medical Condition she didn’t know about, so many reasons why this happened.. but she was alive touching ground and somewhat awake. She also crossed her arms around the guy. As for the croud I ding think they knew say to think and were in shock, maybe thought it was part of the show? When they carried her away you do hear some reaction at the end. I hope she’s ok. That’s a scary ass moment. I hope it didn’t scare her to where she didn’t want to perform again.
