Ouch It seems that the silk screen printing around the value encoder is already wearing off Not that it's a big deal , but for a new machine it might mater
The first five or so of the Cirklon 2 had some silk-screen issues that the metal work supplier has since fixed. They're sending me a new faceplate so I can use the old one as a second necklace.
According to Colin the Reich ticks are the same as regular ticks, so 48 per step. So 12 would be a quarter of a note (I'm calling the steps a note, maybe this isn't the correct terminology!). This is in the default timebase 16.
Just refreshing my music theory, technically if this was proper music notation a while note (semibreve) would last for four beats, so 16 steps. So I probably shouldn't be calling the steps notes.
