Character introduction
Sunny Milk: She has the ability to manipulate light, she can use it to refract it, blend with it to become invisible, and even use it aggressively. She acts as the leader of the group, fairies of light.
Star Sapphire: Has the ability to detect moving things, like radar. She is usually cheerful but loses her temper easily.
Luna Child: Has the ability to silence her surroundings. She trips over something or even nothing 3 times a day.
Cirno along with Daiyousei helping Lily spread the message that spring has arrived, they meet the light fairies.
(I know it's fall right now, but the story that these animations take place is in spring.. for now)

But hey.. at least it is a 9 day,
I don't have much to say about the delay, just that the video went through an almost full redesign... and IRL stuff.

In this animation, Cirno showcases herself thinking through several different mathematical processes on the spot, and then actually applying them into what she needs to do. At 18:17 she tosses her ice sword up into the air at the correct degree and angle, accounting for its weird shape and air resistance in order for it to land exactly where she needs to for her to deflect the sunlight in the second part, and then predicting the timing correctly to know where to deflect the sunlight to in that particular timing. She ALSO calculates the rotational inertia in both the x and y degrees of the sword when throwing it, in order to make sure that the sunlight deflects perfectly off of it onto its target. This not only showcases several Physics and Trig fundamentals, but also the mental capacity to calculate it in mere seconds. This proves that Cirno is indeed, the smartest fairy in Gensokyo no questions asked.

At first I wanted the scene where Luna talks to Lily to be completely silent, without music or sounds, as if it were a private conversation. But I didn't end up liking how the scene turned out without sound, so I added sound to it. So Luna's ability will be left for another time.

2:38 I *knew* that uploading that game's sountrack was the right thing to do. This video really feels like a real Great Fairy War. Cute and silly at the same time. I also love how Luna is the "voice of reason" of the trio: she may not be clever, but at least she uses her little brain. Or just how accurately everyone's personality is depicted.

I can't believe it but you truly OUTDONE YOURSELF!!!! THIS WAS EXTREMELY EPIC!!!!! The continuity cameos, the way you combine 2D with 3D in such a seamless way, the FIGHT itself, so much creativity, it never felt like it was going for toonlong in fact the 30 minutes felt like 5, i was beyond engaged. But of course a fight scene is meaningless without an engaging story and characters, and you succeeded in that too!!!!, the drama between Cirno and Daiyousei, the personalities of the three fairies, all done perfectly and worked for a really satisfying and even wholesome conclusion, in short A MASTERPIECE!!!!

This was definitely well worth the wait, great job. On an unrelated note, this video just goes to show how dangerous fairies can be, especially in numbers. They aren't shy from kicking the seven shades of shite out of each other Ravenous for anything that is sweet tasting or something precious to them, Luna = Coffee Beans and Lily = her Basket Are obsessed with causing destruction and mayhem with pranks, even if it means killing the recipient And lastly, they don't seem to learn much from their mistakes or experiences, no matter how hard Keine tries to teach it through their thick skulls In conclusion: Where's the next Touhou game where the Fairies start a revolution?

This was incredible, more than worth the wait. The fight choreography was amazing, it reminds me of the old sprite animations like super mario bros z. I thought the characters expresions and memes sued were very funny and you can tell that every interaction had a lot of thought behind it. Most still appear in the games: The Three Fairies of Light come from Touhou 12.8: Great Fairy Wars Daiyousei comes from Touhou 6: EoSD (being an Stage 2 mid-boss) Lily comes from Touhou 7: PCB (stage 4 mid-boss), then Touhou 9: PoFV (being the only non-playable character, ignoring the most common enemies in the game) As for the sprites (Most characters have no Official Sprites, in this video, the exception is Cirno, which her sprites comes from TH12.3. Below they were made for MUGEN) Daiyousei sprites were made by Arima. (Using TH10.5 Remilia dots) Lily and The Three Fairies of Light sprites were made by Hetyo.

Daiyousei appears as a nameless Stage 2 midboss enemy in 6 (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil), her name was given by fans, but was never made official by ZUN. The Three Fairies originated from the Sangetsusei manga, and made their game debut in 12.8 (Great Fairy Wars).

Daiyousei also shows up in GFW as an enemy...which is kinda strange and unexplained because she's kind of depicted as Cirno's +1 or possibly her minion(yes, there is straight up not enough relevance or screentime to Dai to properly evidence her actually being a friend).
