i had to go back to my old photos of 2022 vice and honestly Guilty Pleasure looks pretty similar!! so part of me thinks Cirque just nade this year’s much lighter vs my bottle changing? 🤔

yeah i saw that too and even confirmed with some friends that 2022 was just that much darker! i guess with the initial feedback of it being “too dark” for a neon they wanted to make it lighter, but at this point its a completely different polish lol 😅

The differences in the new and old bottles of guilty pleasure shocked me!! I snagged Mile High Club, Road Rage, and Electric Daisy yesterday. I agree with you about Electric Daisy being part of the main collection. It’s my first round of neons in my collection ever so I’m happy that it came back 😅 I always appreciate your videos being up when the collection drops 💗

right!! looking back on my 2022 vice pics, it looks like Guilty Pleasure actually was dark, so it seems like Cirque just made this year’s lighter for some reason?? 🤔 but thats a gorgeous haul! the new shades are stunning and i totally get needing Electric Daisy if you don’t have any neons lol! but yay of course!! 🤗🤗

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm not shopping any of Vice this year! I had a wake-up call when I wore Pyro for the first time this summer and it just didn't have that 'punch' anymore because it had faded. interestingly, I feel like the fading on Pyro turned it more orange -- when I look back at old photos, I think it actually used to be more red? all to say, I have too many neons as it is, and now I'm feeling the pressure to wear them before they fade. plus I have Vaporwave and love it, so I'm safe from Road Rage (the best color here imho). honestly, the saddest part about having a big polish collection is that I just can't bring myself to buy as many new polishes now lol. I'll definitely buy Pyro whenever they bring it back, though. thanks as always for the great swatches and comparisons!

Yes that’s definitely true about Pyro! It lost that neon quality and looks more like a super bright red-orange lol. It does suck that neons fade though, it feels similar to thermals having a short shelf life and exactly, when you have a big collection it’s just hard to justify getting them! 😣 I need to wear last year’s shades too before they start to fade! I wonder how long ILNP’s will stay neon by comparison 👀

I actually pass on neons for this same reason. It’s just not possible to enjoy them all with a short shelf life.

I’m with you, I own wayyyy too many neons and I don’t need any more. Pretty sure I own all of these colors already. Honestly, some of my older Orly and color club neons are my favorite. Cirque hasn’t made anything that knocks my socks off. I own a few of them, and I do enjoy Pyro a lot. I’m not paying Cirque prices for a neon any more, they’re just too expensive.

I'm picking up High Roller (I voted for it!) and the 2 new shades. I have the other shades already and even though my bottles have probably faded I can't justify replacing them when they barely have fill lines and the new bottles are going to fade too. Totally agree about Electric Daisy - they should make it permanent or bring it back way less often. It's iconic but not unique enough to justify how many summers we see it!

honestly NYFW is much darker on the nail - it's got kind of a jelly-ish texture so by the time you do enough coats for opacity I feel like it's a true blue trending towards dark blue (at least this is how my bottle is)

The Guilty Pleasure difference is absolutely wild. I'm wearing Guilty Pleasure 2022 on my nails right now, and it looks even darker on my nails than it does on yours 😢 you would never be able to tell it used to be a "neon". It didn't look neon in 2022 but it was actually lighter. I think mine has gotten darker over time.

I’ve never bought a neon. I feel like at my age (64) they’re just a bit to loud. I’m sure that’s an unpopular opinion.😂 If I were to try any it would be the red just because I love red polishes so much. Enjoyed the review!❤

My mom is 60, and I do her nails sometimes. And I always offer her colors she sees as loud or not age appropriate and my response is always who cares I think it'll look so good on you. Needless to say I can convince her less than 1% of the time lol. She'll always go for "safe" colors and almost always they are a cream finish.

@@pamelabeth Oh I don’t stick to creams. I love all kinds of finishes and colors. I don’t often wear the ‘old lady shades’ but I do like a mauve occasionally. Heck I might even like neons! I just need to try a few I guess.

Neons sometimes look too much on my wide medium length nails if worn as a full mani. I get around that by using them as small pops of colour (eg, thin French tips, single dot near the cuticle or vertical line of mixed neon dots)

excellent choices!! and yeah isn’t it so weird to see how dark the og Guilty Pleasure was? i was honestly getting myself confused and thought i mixed them up or something, but from what i can see in my 2022 vice posts on IG it really was on the deeper side! so maybe they made it lighter bc of the feedback.. i hope you’ll love it though! and hahah yeah maybe that’s another reason i don’t love Electric Daisy like everyone else does 🙈

Definitely picking up Mile High Club and Plastik!!! It's so fun cause I feel like it's a personal throwback to my first Vice purchases back in 2021 where I had only bought Gossip and One Night Stand (I was juuuust starting getting into indies/boutique polishes then). Always love me a good neon blue and magenta 😍 Skipping Electric Daisy and Guilty Pleasure since I already have them - altho I'm kinda shook by the fading comparison between 2022 and this year's. The other 2 don't really speak to me; I don't really love vibrant reds with pink undertones, and neon/pastel turquoises aren't my thing. I'm soooooo bummed that Narcisse didn't come back 😭😭😭 I saw they posted the 2 purples on their socials for a "guess which will come back" sort of thing so I'm cryyyyyin that it wasn't Narcisse. Fingers crossed for next year; she's forever the one that got away 🥲

there’s something about a neon hot pink + blue combo that’s SO satisfying!! 😍💙💖 but omg yeah Narcisse was a stunner, I hope that’ll come back next year ! I assume it was too similar to Klepto to bring back this year, but then again Road Rage is pretty similar to Game Over but maybe those hot reds just sell better than the softer purples 🤔 we need more people voting for Narcisse next year!!

OMG, it's VICE time! Ithink when Electric Daisy first came out, it was THE neon yellow-green. Now, summer seems to be a glut of neons, but ED is iconic because it was a trend setter IMO. Was Road Rage staining when you removed it? I think I need Plastik and the turquoise one. Also, are those the standard brushes now? I had to replace all my dinky Cirque brushes...what a difference in application to have a wider brush.

yess definitely get that Electric Daisy is iconic for being THE highlighter shade of the time (maybe not the first but possibly one of the first that didn’t need a white base?). but they really bring it back every other year so I think they should just make it a seasonal release along with the vice collection! 🙈 i didn’t experience any staining with Road Rage but i also didn’t wear it for too long.. but yes all new Cirque releases come with the wide brushes!! 🙌🏼

Thank you for this video! I just bought electric daisy! I love love bright neons and this color was missing from my collection. I almost bought the cobalt because blue is my gav, but I honestly never feel that blues or purples are not true neons (in my mind). Pinks, corals, reds, oranges , yellows and greens are usually the neons I wear.

That’s so interesting they changed the Guilty Pleasure color SO much. It kinda irks me a little bit because at that point they should’ve just called it something different as well since I skipped it thinking I already had it (I bought Guilty Pleasure when it originally released)

The Vice collections are always the ones I wish I’m more excited for. Like you said about Electric Daisy, it’s always the same few shades coming back and honestly the differences are not great enough for me to get all of them. I have quite a few of the CC neons I’ve gotten in the last few years, and I just never reach for them save for a few times in the summer. And by the time I do they are a bit faded. With that said - Road Rage is beautiful and is tempting me to make the same mistake again. 😂

Yess Vice is definitely cirque’s most anticipated collection of the year! It’s always so exciting to see what they release, especially with how we can vote on them!! Ahh sadly I haven’t tried any Color Club neons (except the one CC adjacent polish I shared lol) and have heard great things about them lasting much longer than other neons, it sucks to hear some of yours have faded too 😩 I guess that’s just how it goes, similar to thermals.. but lol I totally understand you about Road Rage 🙈🏎️

They def dull down over the year. I've noticed this. But the UV reactive still works (for me, anyway) and this is a super cool aspect bc at dusk or dawn your nails will GLOW. So, i have the original Guilty Pleasure and it was never that red as the new one. Unless i'm losing my mind. Idc i will always splurge on Vice bc it comes out right around my bday 😁 thank you for the swatches & comparisons! .... and YES.. by now we ALL have Electric Daisy! 😅

oh yes that’s good to know they’re still UV reactive! i always forget to mention that in my videos since i don’t have a UV light 🙈but its definitely a fun aspect about them. but yeah i’m thinking they just made the new Guilty Pleasure a different/lighter shade of purple, since my original one looks almost the same as my pictures from 2022! but omg how fun, happy early/belated birthday lol! 🥳🥳

I was waiting for your review and it‘s been a hot moment since I have been so excited over a Cirque collection that I placed my order before commenting on your video: I ordered Plastik (who am I to order a nearly pink? 🤪), High Roller, Mile High Club (I hope this is a dupe or at least close sibling to Nails Inc Baker Street) and of course Road Rage. If my memory serves me right Guilty Pleasure was not marketed as full neon when it launched in 2022 but a neon bright… I think…

omg how exciting! i know you and so many others haven’t been as excited over Cirque so it definitely says something that you immediately ordered! you picked such great shades, and ooh i do wonder how similar Mile High Club is to Baker Street, they definitely look super close based on the swatch photos! 😍💙 and oh i don’t remember that about Guilty Pleasure but can see that, kind of like the opposite with last year’s pastel neons

My ILNP Vaporwave was pretty eye-searing, so I think that means Road Rage is over-the-top. I like Plastik. Don't be shocked, I know it's pink, not purple.

This is only my second year purchasing the Vice collection, so I was excited to pick up Electric Daisy. But I agree with you, Cirque might as well make it permanent so it’s not coming back every other year 😂

Yay I’m early! 🤍 I recently tried to place my first order from cirque but a few days afterwards they refunded me my whole order without warning or explanation, I ended up reaching out to them to ask what had happened and they said that some of the polishes I ordered went out of stock 😮 so they just refunded me the entire order instead of just refunding me for those few colours? 😅 I’m thinking of giving them another try though as they have so many beautiful colours! Great video as always babe! 💕

Besides that, I absolute love how people are doing the “Crystal nails” with rose jelly or jade jelly and linen, I think it looks gorgeous so I think I’m going to have to try and order from them again, also the nectar topper looks absolutely stunning!

I actually like the colors, but I'm trying to skip Vice like I did last year. At this point, I think I should really be re-wearing my older neons before they fade. Luckily, there are only a few neon polishes in my collection that have gotten thick or faded, but I don't think I should wait around for that. Thank you for the review and comparisons though!

Look at Guilty Pleasure out there being a TOTALLY different shade... so technically THREE new shades, Cirque? 😏NGL...I usually love Vice time, but this year is kinda 'meh' for me. I'm pressed that Euphoria and Superfreak haven't come back, and yet there's Electric Daisy, again 😂Even Kushy doesn't get this much love! I have and like ED, but come on, IA make it permanent...and a bunch of these are slight variations of similar shades past too? Even w/ your great comparisons I swear Road Rage and Mile High Club are giving me deja vu... Not my vibe this year, but I am glad these are available for newbies to neons, and to restock faves. I also cannot resist Plastik b/c...HOT PINK!! 🥰🥰

lmao you know what you’re not wrong! 😅 i get what you mean about being meh on this year’s lineup though, like i think it fits the RGB/CMYK colors but i don’t love it as much as previous years. and exactlyyyy lol they bring back Electric Daisy every other year when it could be another shade we vote on! 😭 & yeah there’s always that too, some color end up being super similar to ones they already released.. i’m glad you love Plastik! it’s a fun pink but i hopeee they’ll bring back Retail Therapy or even Gossip next year! 🤞🏼🩷

My old Guilty Pleasure looks like yours! Maybe they took the feedback of it being too dark and tried to brighten it? I would welcome Electric Daisy being made permanent so everyone could enjoy it and to allow another slot for rotating shades. I am definitely picking a few of these up, but I am not sure which ones yet!

It doesn’t seem like the 2022 version faded (unless it got darker??) but still weird to bring it back when it looks wayyy different than the original too, idk how to feel about that 🤔 I imagine the people who voted for it would be upset by the change. I suppose these are considered “acceptable” batch differences, although as a consumer, I disagree. Yeah that’s more my speed of guilty pleasure. The purple was so blah and dark in 2022 I wasn’t a fan. I’m skipping this year which I’m glad for. I feel like I have all these colors, so yay! Love electric daisy and I’m assuming the blue is more of a sinful colors endless blue or orly it’s Britney beach so I like that a lot more than the boring sky high from 2022.

I mostly really love this years lineup… but I was bummed they brought back guilty pleasure and electric Daisy. I was never really into guilty pleasure. And I am just over electric daisy. It has become just your “typical” neon at this point. I would have liked to see something new. I think I am most excited about plastik, high roller, and mile high club. I’m so in shock over how much guilty pleasure changed! So so crazy! I voted for plastik and high roller come back for sure. I cannot wait to wear them both! And I also really love the new red in the lineup. 🥰👏🏻💖

I realized why I don't like neons... and it's nothing against them on others cus I do like when others wear them, but they literally are so eyesearing... and I'm sensitive to light and stuff with migraines, so they really don't help my case. 🥲 the only one I have that I justified in getting was Pahlish's Neon from one of the PPUs.
