Gane isn’t getting another title shot without beating Aspinall or Pavlovich. Not with the way Jon Jones handled him. You need multiple wins to get a rematch after something like that.
Multiple wins? Holloway only needed 2 wins to get another title shot, Whittaker needed 3, 2-3 isn't really that much, yes, Gane needs like 2 wins to get another shot at the title.

I like Gane - his fight with Tuivasa was awesome but what Jones did to him made his stock drop a lot. If he doesn’t sort out his ground game he’ll end up as a gatekeeper at this rate.

This guy has a rock solid mental. What an unapologetic warrior, accepts the bad, doesn't shy around it and spoke about improving very convincingly. Im a huge fan of this guy.

He beat every other opponent he has faced in mma. Believe me, I dont know Gane's education in France, but Charles and Pereira have no formal education and were born in places in Brazil where many people cant even speak/write portuguese properly and that was their lives for 15+ years, it's really hard for them to learn new languages
Ciryl trains in France where at least 40% of people speak English as opposed to Brazil where only 5% of Brazilians speak English. No one is learning a language to any degree of fluency without being around fluent speakers.

@HellBlazerMNE07 I also think Spivak will prevail. He has improved massively, especially in the striking and is a pretty efficient striker throwing those "Fedor"-overhands right into his grappling.
Cyril needs to change his coaching team. They cant prepare fighters against wrestlers. Francis Ngannou noticed that and quickly changed the team and now he can wrestle.

@@justadude9110 i didnt say that he didnt progress, im saying there isnt enough evidence there to say "he can wrestle now" because the gane was a standup fight that he was losing until he got taken down and made a mistake, and the second stipe fight stipe tried for a single leg, which was kinda sloppy and he gave up on after a couple seconds which francis reversed and then tried to take stipe down and couldnt, even though he was rocked and outweighed him by probably 50lbs lol.

@HellBlazerMNE07 I agree if Gane doesn't beat Spivak, then he struggles against anyone in the top 10 and chances of winning are not good, his grappling is to much at a novice level to where he can't make up for it late in the game. Gane has been training MMA for less than 5 years but we shall see with Spivak if he's made the necessary adjusments.

@@onyxthegemlord2847 Jones won't fight Pavlovich right now. He's said as much. He's said that both Aspinall and Pavlovich need to build their notoriety and profile up. So the best way they can do that is by fighting each other. The other option is that Jones retires and it will likely be Pavlovich Vs Aspinall anyway for the vacant belt.
In other words: "Lets not set up the first part of fight promotion in order to garner more eyes to a huge No. 1 contender fight who will face the winner of Jones vs Stipe." Gotcha. Hence why you will never be a star
