I remember when CIS made this win. I was trading from Vancouver and I saw on Bloomberg a journalist talking about it was all verified and the people from Bloomberg couldn't believe he didn't check fundamentals. hahaha Epic.
Things to learn from CIS' documentary: 1) Risk to Reward should be optimal when it comes to trading in his early days 2) No strategy is permanent in markets, you have modify your strategy in order to adapt with the change in market dynamics 3) Markets are always superior no matter how much money or experience you have. Markets are unforgiving. 4) Retrospect where you went wrong instead of blaming the market and try to work on those negatives.
Lost 25k in 2 months. Not mad at market at all. Looked back at what went wrong and am making thise changes today. I know I'll get the money back eventually

I very much enjoyed an article I read about CIS, where he says "Buy what is being bought, and sell what is being sold" when asked about his trading techniques and how he reads the level II. Took me a while to realize that while his statement is correct, is it anything but simple and loaded with nuance/complexity. Have admired him and his methods ever since, and your coverage of his story is excellent. Well done!
Love your voice! As a trader myself, when he first suffered his 5 million loss, I know what he felt. When in a bull market, everyone is a genius, even the shoe shine boy, when it reverses, your mind can't understand, can't see and can't anticipate a reversal. I mean the sun always rises right? Is it a pull back? Should I exit long? Will it continue up? Is it a reversal? All these questions are split second choices. Whether you trade 1 minute or 1 day charts the questions are always the same. Tunnel vision, lack of awareness is a successful trader's worst nightmare. Make note of the word "successful". CIS realized this and changed his game. Most traders don't survive long enough to do what CIS did. Most traders would hold their long positions till they get that margin call.

One thing helped me alot as a trader is that don't predict the future just see what's the market is doing right now...take trades close some part as a partial and keep the remaining trailing. No one can predict the exact future...

It’s been a while but stumbled on your channel again, and I’m finally ready to get back into the markets. Had some success 2020 turning $1,500 to $110k. Took half and lost half. I remember that trade, it was on ZeroHedge at the time.....A Wall Street legend, Martin Armstrong, made 2 amazing trades, one was Black Monday of the 80's and one was LTCM bust of 98. The #'s were larger, but I am sure the excitement is similar, gut wrenching, logic defying, emotionally downbeating all combined into one....the biggest ? always: did I make the correct move??? The visuals and storytelling are awesome, but cant really be too inspired all because CIS got consistent by eat/sleeping trading. He got bored and started over leveraging and managed to keep his family out of poverty, cool, great. What would be inspiring is if he takes some of that fortune and transmutes it into something meaningful like clean energy mechanics with his degree, poverty intervention, or build/invest in schools to teach kids how to be financially fit by applying that "gamer" mindset. Food for thought, cool video tho

as a trader myself (i only trade gold) this is crazy to learn about but i am happy he never gave up & stuck to something he was passionate about for me trading is a just my lifestyle its great especially when you know what your doing & your able to manage your trades

This is why even if you are best trader or a 100% truly a winner you still can't forget the risk management so you won't lose 6million out of 30million lower the lot size no rush, although as someone as similar as him I understand that mind getting clouded is the worst thing but I make notes and shaped my mind, cause ever since I was a child I live in an environment where I need to adapt super quick so I master that as one of the most priority on, it is so use full when I grow up no matter what situation I'm in real life, games or especially trading the market can take turns but adapt to it, I'm sure this is relatable ever since I was in middle school where we had classmates who play games every group have different games the are discussing but I enter them all in order to feel like the best gamer I master the mechanics of all games they play slowly mastering trending games back in the day I won't rest until I master it where I can win if I want to.

idk about that. lucky to get a hit on an interesting topic. I couldnt do that but you can clearly see the quality differences. This guy talks random stuff in an easy manner that bores you quickly. Pauses are too long, speech is too casual. Watched only cause I was doing something else in the foreground on my PC. Still not bad but you can see how this is amateur compared to many other productions. Appreciate the trys and he will improve if he goes for it. Good job, no sugar coating
