Cisse wins gold in Men's 80kg Taekwondo 

First man from Ivory Coast to win a gold medal.

Imagine losing the gold in the last second.

For the people that dont understand there are two scoring systems in competitive taekwondo. One sensor system requires direct contact between the sock and the armour on the head/body to register a hit. The other (the one used in the olympics) is proximity based. If enough impact has been registered even with an obstruction (in this case the block) the sock was close enough to the helmet that it registered as a hit. The impact was high enough and the sensors were in proximity. Thats why it registered and the points counted even though it looked like a block for all those wondering. :)
