I really like the way they redesigned the building, especially the utilities, they are much more imposing and complex. The modular system is really nice also, you can now have a power station that can provide power for thousand of people AND looks mighty. I love it !
The modularity makes more sense than tearing down smaller utilities to make room for super huge ones. If only the game had some performance tweaks before release
Im actually getting addicted to these videos lol (even tho i don't play the game, but i always loved these kind of games) People that know how to play the game and have reasoning behind their construction.
Can't watch city builder series without adding Nivarias to the list. Found this channel through Anno and still here Cities Skylines 2 is going to consume this next week for me.

Was looking for a cities 2 playthrough to watch and happened to find one where the city is named after my home town. I have no choice but to watch! And for anyone who sees this, the real Sleepy Hollow (and Tarrytown they're basically the same town) is a lovely little hamlet in New York. It's on the hudson with an up close view of the Tappan Zee bridge (fuck cuomo I'm not calling it that) and train access to the city via Metro North. We've got a bustling main street, the Music Hall, waterfront parks, and a jazz club to boot. If ur staying in the city for business and you don't mind an hour commute (by train to Grand Central, < 40 mins by car) I would highly recommend it. And if you like cheap greasy breakfast sandwiches like I do, try Green County on Beekman (or JnG right across the street).
As Im loving your Anno series, but I think CS and spamming roads just for field cover aren't good in your case :D I think there will be a loooot of traffics
i wanna find out how its with grafic, everywhere you hear that the game has fps problem as soon as the city grow up ! I dont have 2023 PC ! so dont wanna waste 50 and be sad.
i loved skylines but for me they have screwed the pooch big time for skylines 2 they have made it WAYY to over complicated with the ability to micromanage EVERYTHING and the fact you need to be constantly doing this or your city just implodes build for 10 mins start loosing credits instantly take about 30 mins to stabalise.. and spend an hour fine tuning taxation for EVERYTHING.. oo look your scholl costs 60k a month to upkeep.. never fear you can UPGRADE it with a clinic ? like WTF on a school ? WHY why have that as an upgrade for a school ? when you allready have a clinic/hospital....
YESSSS 🎉🎉🎉 Cities skylines 2 with niv I've been waiting for this moment because I love the details of the game and niv points them out I'll be watching more of cities skylines 2 now
The issue is within textures and the palette of colors, definitively will look better once modded. The game mechanics are actually pretty polished for a new release.
