Saw him live last week...what an amazing artist! By far the BEST concert I've ever been to. He was getting or getting over a cold and kept apologizing...I thought his voice was even more beautiful with the lil sexy rasp he had at the end :) He is def my new favorite artist!
Don't know why it is, this song reminds me of lots of things that have lost. Missing lots of memories, but it also reminds me to have faith. Thank you for writing this song and to sing it. If citizen cope didn't sing it, I'd probably never liked it.
I saw him on Saturday at Stubbs in Austin. Right in front 3 ppl back. Awesome show. Hard to imagine but 100 times better live than on a recording. Played for 2 and a half hours. Best concert ever. Sons Gonna Rise had the place rockin.
Wow, just getting home from New Years."ing! What a fatabutous night! After too many cheers, came home to my beloved CBC and this song came on!! What a delight! Beautiful lyrics and melody! Love it! Thank you Citizen Cope! Great song! Bravo!
Simples e muito bom, sem grandes agudos, técnicas, simplesmente a alma cantando!!! Simple and very good with no major acute, techniques, simply the soul singing !!!

She won't give in, she won't crack a smile or a grin She won't give in, but she sure is different It's written in red all in her eyes, there's no disguise Well she lost so much until one day Together we could go, where there ain't no more pain Together we could fly, where there's time for you and I Together we could walk to the river, stand with the families Move to the sounds of the band from Atlantis One lovely day, one lovely day One lovely day, one lovely day She won't let on, the feelings they got so strong She won't let on, but I'm never gonna leave her alone It's written in red all in her eyes, there's no disguise Well she lost so much until one day Together we could go, where there ain't no more pain Together we could fly, where there's time for you and I Together we could walk to the river, stand with the families Move to the sounds of the band from Atlantis One lovely day, one lovely day One lovely day, one lovely day Together we could go, where there ain't no more pain Together we could fly, where there's time for you and I Together we could walk to the river, stand with the families Move to the sounds of the band from Atlantis One lovely day, one lovely day One lovely day, one lovely day
+Endzwell He tends to mute/ignore certain strings. The A string's never played here except for the 2nd chord in the verses. So for the verses you've got (from low E to high e) 5x7555, x5453x, 3x543x, 4x645x. Then the chorus goes 5x7555, 8x10810x, 7x978x, 6x868x. Hope this helps
Chord site are indeed all wrong on the chorus. But the 8x10810x, in the chorus, it's hard to see, or hear even. I've been puzzling with that or 8x10910x,
It's a little tricky, but if you can isolate that note you'll definitely find it's on the 8th fret. Playing the 9th fret would make the top 3 notes the same as in the previous chord, but that note actually descends by a semitone with each chord change (the notes go E, Eb, D, Db). If you play those notes in isolation you'll probably hear the descending line :)
